Has anyone experienced having a room with a 3rd year as a fresher? What are the pros and cons of this arrangement?

How do I borrow books from the Library? I'm a fresher so I'm totally lost. Can any senior shed some light on it? (I'm on the library rn)

If anyone who has attended previous year programme or is trying this time. Kindly guide me thorugh. How do you work on the research topic of your choice also, what kind of output from your side have higher chances of selection

For anyone who has gone through UoH UG/Integrated PG admissions before:

How long after physical counselling did UoH usually release/offer seats to waitlisted candidates when vacancies arose due to withdrawals?

Also, were candidates notified through the Samarth portal, email/SMS, or did they have to keep checking the UoH admissions website themselves?

I'm specifically asking about UG/Integrated PG, especially Psychology, if anyone has any idea about it.

So I'm right now doing my 12th and I want to know about bsc psychology hons program at uohyd? How is that program? Any seniors who can give me a review? Also I want to know about social life, extra curricular activities and I want to do either research or an MBA in HRM so is this university good for me? Hey seniors, I just joined UoH for M.tech cse and yet to come with luggage. So, I thought of asking few questions. Feel free to answer any of them.

1. Do hostels have washing machines?

2. Where can we dry our clothes?

3. Is laundry service provided? For ironing.

4. Which Sim network is the best?

5. Can we buy bicycle in the campus? Or bring our own?

6. Are the postal services available till hostel or should we pick on our own?

7. I got to know my room doesn't get good wifi signal. What is the procedure to setup a wifi router in my room if I bring one? Whom should I ask for permission?

8. Are the shopping complexes available with stuff like curtains and door mats?

9. What is the speed via ethernet port in hostel rooms?

10. Are bikes allowed or should we register it with someone?

11. How are the electricity blackouts? Is it that we get 24/7 electricity or are there many blackouts and many hours without a generator?

12. Should I bring my own heater or will there be an ample amount of hot water available?

General cutoff

I'm thinking about joining UoH Integrated M Tech for CSE. Im not really concerned about placements but more so about higher studies. I wanted know if the engineering programs are worth it or should i pursue other options?

Do I need have a BLANKET and a BROOM in here? I mean I'm new so I don't know a lot about the climate and the cleaning system here. (Alloted Men's hostel i btw)
