Please help! This is a really fun project for the middle school kids.

For those who have commented that I am “doing” the project for her…I’d like to provide some context. We cannot have 10 year olds online soliciting cards from strangers without adult supervision. This is why the post cards are mailed directly to the school and reviewed by the main office first. Once the post cards are approved, they are shared with the class. Each card leads to a productive discussion and essentially..a research project! Each student will need to pick one state to write an essay on.

Basically, as the title says, I lost a close family member, and I'm unsure if there is just one person to contact or if I have to reach out to each of my professors. Am I allowed to take time away for grief, or do I only get to miss for the funeral? If anyone has any information, that'd be great.

This is a throwaway account because I am so embarrassed about this but I have missed so much class this semester. Some of my classes take attendance. I have good grades other than that. I just feel really socially uncomfortable in class and it only makes it worse because then I feel like I’m obviously the person who doesn’t show up to class. So when I do show up, especially in smaller classes, I get so insecure because I feel like it’s obvious that I’m a bad student because I never show up.

Has anyone else experienced this? Advice? Or anything at all?

Greetings, Wichita State University Senior here. While I do enjoy going to WSU due to its affordability and how close it is to my house, I'll be frank, it's incredibly boring aside from the events they have here and there.

I've heard that KU is a great party school, and have been considering visiting Lawrence (and maybe KC) for a weekend while I'm still a student and have some free time.

So my question is, how would I go about getting into parties, and what other fun activities can I do while I visit KU/Lawrence?
