Do I push through the series if I don’t like Slice of Life?

Do I push through the series if I don’t like Slice of Life?

So I’ve played halfway through the first game a couple of years ago and while I thought the lore was interesting and the strategy portion decent there was a majority of slice of life scenes in the game that I thought was very boring as someone who doesn’t really like SOL in anime. I hear all the time that this series has an amazing story but I’ve yet to see it and afraid that it’s mostly sol scenes.

I’ve been thinking about starting up the series again but is it worth it to push through those scenes? Are the second and third game also SOL heavy or do they have a lower amount?

Starting the Utawa series!

Very unlucky timing considering Sony’s dumb decision to kill physical, but I started the series with the digital entry of the first game a few days ago, and decided to get them all and continue my journey with the physical versions. They weren’t easy to find, especially the second game, so I’m really glad I got all of them new at a normal price, even with the different localized covers. Anyway, I’m really glad for getting into this series and hope the rest are as good as the first game!

Need some help on a Quest list bug

Im currently on my last of the five games, Utawarerumo: Past and Present Rediscovered, and I want to get the plat trophy. I'm currently in chapter 10 where we need to head to Gilgajarna volcano in the main story and here's the problem, one quest among those I've completed ("Flowers for a Grave") is not among the supposed 19 as of the moment.

I know that I succesfully completed the quest sceneario and requirements as I currently have the Fortress form of Halu, which is technically a quest exclusive reward from the the robot. For context, I remember completing the quest the moment the ruins became available to me prior to entering Auyatawna, which I believe shouldn't be a problem. Will there be any repurcussions ? Heck, I wonder if its even part of the list of quests as it may be not be considered one. Any ideas on how to deal with this as I don't want to revert to a previous save given the numerous completed areas I have explored and the levels I have accumulated for the party :(

For context, given that there is no walkthrough guide in GameFAQ for this game, I used a google sheet link which technically serves as a tracker of all kinds of things for the game made by a redditor and found "Flowers for a Grave" as one of the quests

PS: I know it's kinda idiotic and sort of not (?), but I asked AI for a solution from which it stated one of the options is to use Steam Achievement Manager (SAM) to somehow forcibly unlock a steam achievement (presumably after I finish the game). Is this doable/legit ?

How the heck do I get the items ?

I just finnished Monochrome Mobius: Right and Wrongs Forgotten and its been a blast finishing after playing the trilogy ! I want to get the platinum achievement and I am just lacking "Daikon Slayer", Inheritor of the Future", and "The Strongest Robot"

The former 2, I can get just fine (for the first one, I hope). However, I've been having a hard time with the last one since I am lacking a few of Halu's ABLs which are "Energy Save" and "Like a Rock". Specifically, I need Unclean Blood & Huge Talon for the latter, and Lightning Fin for the former. The BIG PROBLEM is that I've been farming Boro-Pechau (The huge green koi fish), Apepawa-Nnaki (Red Dinosaur), & Kugutsu-Somukami (That red tentacle tatati like mob) for who knows how long now, yet I cant get a single one to drop. I've heard/read that staggering the enemy first before finishing them off increases the chances of a rare drop, so I've been doing exactly that except for Kugutsu-Somukami as my party is lvl99 at max stats and it will be difficult to do so on a soft mob. Not to me to mention, the mobs dont respawn even after you exit the spheres in court 3 where they are found along mh farm route which I can only hunt 1 of each per run and it's getting pretty tiredome getting the same meat items as the reward. Any tips to get it ? RNG godz seem to hate me as usual 🫠

I would also like some tips on specific places where its common to find the Daikon, our good friend GameFAQ mentions the place but not specifically which I assume is random spawn so help is much appreciated for players who achieved this trophy. It's a pain in the ass to get them one by one without knowing which one we have already slain atleast once 😔

Thus, I hope they add a tracker of some sorts to the mob & itrms glossary to identify who and where drops what in Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered since I'll be playing that next after getting that trophy.

PS: Does the sequel use the save state carryover feature from Monochrome Mobius ?
