So I’m a player who does not hold back when it comes to opponents in all chat and would say pretty much every offensive slur you can think of (yes, everything) to them if/when bad gets to worse.

However, I’m extremely protective of my own teammates, especially the randoms, and rarely, if ever, cuss at them or so

Even when an opponent tries to troll or provoke (like saying things such as "nhk" and "uninstall") any of my teammates who aren’t throwing, I can't stop myself from attacking the opponent in the all chat as well.

The only real exception is when we have a teammate who is intentionally griefing (like delivering the spike to opponents, giving them info thru all chat, intentionally team flashing, etc.) If they’re called out and continue doing it, I get toxic towards them but usually by then, the rest of the team is cussing at them as well. Thankfully, that kind of teammate isn’t super common, but is not exactly rare in the mumbai servers either.

Is this considered toxic behavior?

Is this game going to get fixed at some point??? After every update this game breaks and you have to wait and pray for the next one to fix the game. I have done countless tweaks and this game is just shit. I gave up, but realized that every players game runs different because it’s all about how your account or game client syncs with the game server. Honestly, they have so much money but they invest them in anything but game serves or networking optimisation.

Every other player I meet starts their sentences with abusives. What's wrong? How was your upbringing this bad?

I don’t make friends in games anymore.

I’ve met both good people and absolute garbage through gaming, but honestly I’m just tired of it now.

I had a toxic friend who treated every match like a rank competition. I used to play with 100-1000 ms ping spikes because I couldn’t afford Wi-Fi, and when I told him that, his response was literally “lol.” I always appreciated his gameplay, hyped him up when he played well, but he never did the same for me. My older friends kept telling me, “he’s not your friend.” They were right.

After taking a 2-month break from Valorant, I came back rusty and played badly in a Gold lobby. Instead of helping me get back into the game, I got flamed and abused for being “trash.” I actually cried after that and switched to the SG server just to avoid the toxicity.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder: why are Indian gaming lobbies so toxic? It feels like everyone is trying to prove they’re better than everyone else, even when the other person is already struggling.

Now I don’t even enjoy duo queueing with my bros anymore. The game that used to be fun just feels exhausting.

I want to say more, but I know if I keep typing I’ll probably start crying again.

My umbrella can’t shield me from my own tears.

The same tears made me walk away.

Anyone here of higher rank but struck at silver/gold (for example my peak is diamond but I am stuck at silver 2 for months, most of my friends have stopped playing and I am tired of Randoms)
The whole sil-gold lobby is full of kids with the mightiest ego who can not tolerate a single comment on their gameplay and start throwing!
