(Skill Improvement) Please help me help my AuDHD Girlfriend get into Competitive Pokemon

Hey there! Been a big fan of Competitive Pokemon and VGC for a while. Now with the release of Champions I was finally able to actually participate without having to spend days or even weeks on a team.

Now my Girlfriend also really likes Pokemon, however she wasnt able to play the Games as a child as I did, so she really doesnt know all the types or moves as much as she probably would like due to nearly all of these mons being VERY unfamiliar to her.

Due to her AuDHD she also has a really hard time just playing and learning by Trial and Error, and even though I tried to build multiple teams for her, most werent strong enough or too difficult to pilot. Now here comes my question, I asked her, about her favorite Pokemon and I need some BIG help to get a Team built for her, that is fun to play, not too difficult to pilot and allows her to learn about the other Mons at a more comfortable Pace.

Here is the list of Pokemon she really loves from the current Regulation. The Team doesnt have to be 6 pokemon of this list, but the more, the merrier.

Any and all Help is really appreciated, I just wanna support her to enjoy this a bit more and not worry too much about the big learning wall that usually comes from getting into this Game.

Why can’t I make this team work?

For context, I posted awhile ago and received a lot of good feedback on speed control and where to make improvements around the edges. I changed up some Pokemon, added Whimsicott and a few other Pokemon and I have had a lot of success in casual battles, but I’m getting wrecked in Master Ball Tier 4. I know there are a few games where it’s definitely a user issue but I feel like this team should work in theory. Any suggestions?

Need help rounding out my team

I am in masterball 4 and this team has been pretty good to climb with but needs improvements. Charizard, Toxapex and grimmsnarl are a great core. I like this grimmsnarl set better than the normal light clay screens set. I bring annihilape into trick room and rain matchups. Into rain, annihilape can taunt the sableye to prevent rain dance and can storm throw archaludon for good damage even after stamina boosts. I am not sold on Kingambit, I added it as a physical attacker that can close out games and do good damage in the mid game if needed. If the 5th or 6th mon is one that would need sitrus berry, I was thinking about lum berry on annihilape to counter sleep powder venusaur/vivillion or will o wisp. Any recommendations are appreciated

Am I washed? Can’t get above 1600

I wanna keep refining around Metagross but zard ends up being used more. I could just have terrible leads or decision making idk

Can someone help me build a team?

I was thinking about a sun team or trick room. I already have a rain team—the one currently selected—but I wanted to create another one.

All Pokémon Deserve Some Love

"Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites." ~Karen Johto Elite Four Member

We all know this quote well and after I pulled a Shiny Jumbo Gourgeist in Champions I decided to put it to the test. At the time of building this team these were the 6 least used Pokémon in Champions according to Champions in-game analytics. All Pokémon deserve some love and their own time to shine. I'd say mission accomplished!

The team isn't actually all that bad. Give it a try if you also want to show these neglected Pokémon some love!

Edit: The run for this team finally ended with a 7 win streak at MB4. All in all I'm satisfied with how well these guys did.

Reg MB rain + mega metagross team, please help me improve :) I’m new

https://pokepast.es/0a34d07500813d8b

does this look good? I’m still new but I’ve never copied teams, I’ve been building my own since October 2025

The premise is 2 modes. Metagross is if I want to overwhelm them with damage, or if I’m worried about strong fairies like sylveon or floette.
Swampert is if I’m confident I can win the weather war, but pelipper comes to almost every game regardless
Both aim to just stay alive and do as much damage as possible.

Heres a good example of the team doing what it should.

Girlypop Team

I’ve built a theoretical girlypop team (I don’t want to shiny hunt redundant pokemon), but to me it seems really awkward and not quite cohesive. Any advice on what to change to build a more cohesive team?

Any tips?

Currently in UB2 (not necessarily stuck) and was wondering if there’s any opportunity to tweak + improve

Help me cook

Idk why but I like this team and they get me wins until I face a meta team then it’s all strategy and 50/50 from there. I’ve only been playing for a couple of days and new to competitive battling. I want my Tyranitar to be the star of the team. How can I set him up for success? Which mons do I need?

Help for Bo3

Tomorrow I play in a tournament with bo3 OTS, this is my team and i need help to improve with this.
The strategy is obviously mega sceptile and rotom heat, Basculegion with soak is good to help sceptile to kill pokemon he can’t kill and for give a better type to sceptile, Gholdengo and maybe the other pokemon against worst matchup, milotic is here for all pokemon have intimidate, for help to kill blaziken and for recovery and speed control , Gholdengo sitrus Berry to resist flare blitz incineroar, Aereodactyl to speed control with tailwind .
Help me If you are better idea for this team to improve

Help me with my team.

Should I replace mega Metagross with Mega Sceptile as my secondary mega because 90% of the time, I'm going to mega evolve my Frosslass? So, what do you guys think??

P.S.: I didn't add moves and stats in my previous post so posting it again.

Is it even worth it to mega evolve crabominable?

I’ve been running this team and have been weirdly successful with the Mr. Rhyme raichu no guard combo as well as the Mr. Rhyme crabominable anger point combo. However because I have built raichu around no guard if I bring it I can’t of have to mega, or just and I only let it sit to block archalodon for like 1 turn. Because or that I’m wondering if it would be better just to put a healing item on crabominable and live without the 20% boost to punching and 100 extra stat points.
