VCure coming in hot!

My VCure (ordered 5/4) finally arrived and I couldn’t wait to get to it!
My plants were ready to harvest 17 days ago but they were able to hold out until it arrived.
This was able to fit all 3 plants without a single inch to spare and I am so stoked it all fit. I ended up breaking up the big thick buds to ensure they dry evenly.
I wanted to do the craft cycle but my patience chose the quick cycle.😅
Strains: gorilla cookies, skywalker og and painkiller XL (cbd)

Shady customer service has left me questioning my Vgrow purchase

Just wanted to share my experience of my vgrow purchase as I've seen others on here question vivosun customer service and I've now experienced it first hand. Shocking!

I bought the full setup bundle directly from their site for £668.48.

Less than 24 hours later, they dropped the price on their main site. I shopped around and found their official eBay storefront was selling it even cheaper. I reached out, and to their credit, they agreed to a price match adjustment. I was happy at this stage.

When the box arrived, the excitement died. The unit was covered in dust, heavily scratched, and had visible internal wear marks. Support explicitly admitted in writing it was a "warehouse mistake" (a used return sent as new). To address everything, they offered a flat £155.51 partial refund to keep it.

While setting it up, I discovered the included AeroStream humidifier was completely Dead on Arrival (no power/mist). One of the D4 fans was also dead on top of the dust and scratches, which I'm convinced was returned to them because it didn't work.

After a week of troubleshooting and confirming the dead appliance, support sent a new "percentage-based" offer. When you actually do the math, their new total is £158.77. They literally valued a dead appliance, a damaged fan, and a week of my time at an extra £3.26.

Part of that new total was a "pro-rata" refund of £12.67 for the damaged fan. But to buy a single replacement D4 fan on their site right now costs £19.99, meaning their refund doesn’t even cover the cost of replacing their own broken gear out of the box.

Vcure

I just received a free vcure from a buddy that has a cracked front glass. It still works as it should, it just looks ugly. Has anyone here that also had a broken glass replaced it with anything to make it look better?

Thanks!

I knew it was big, but the VCure is a UNIT.

It makes my DIY unit look so puny! Got a harvest coming within two weeks, will be fun to load it up and see how it compares. Using it to test stability in my environment in storage mode for now. Old DIY unit will be relegated to temporary storage when a harvest goes in the VCure.

It also draws so little power being a compressed refrigerant unit, unlike my DIY which uses solid state heat pumps just like the Cannatrol. I was initially concerned a 510w/98wh UPS wouldn't hold it over very long before the generator is ready to go, but it shows ~90 minute run time. That inverter compressor is just super efficient as far as coefficient of performance. It's significantly more efficient than the solid state heat pumps, my DIY unit takes that same UPS down to ~20 min.

Just bought a vcure, now what?

Hey guys, just bought a vcure and am hoping it turns up before my plants finish in a week or 2 , in one piece.

My question is, what’s the best way to use it? I’m guessing calibration of it wouldn’t hurt. My basement in Summer gets hot and humid. Dry and cold in Winter being from the North East.

Do I just run it for a 14 day dry , followed by a cure ,similar to a hanging the plant in the basement? Do I do the stock 2 week cycle? Teach me the ways , I’m very OK with the slowest dry and cure for better end result if that’s how it works. Do I need to worry about flat buds? That was my main gripe with the Cannatrol and sold it after one use.

Probe issues/h05 issues

I recently set up my new h05 humidifier, upon receipt i didn’t notice the card on the hose and accidentally set it up pointing downwards towards my plants. I realized it was letting out more water than it should and adjusted it to point up. Since then, my controllers probe is completely not functioning, and the humidifier keeps saying low water despite me having just filled it. Please help! I’m lost and want to get back to my grow without these errors

What is the difference between Dry & Cure modes? (Vcure)

I assume its the fans running 24/7 right?

I'm trying to dial mine in for a good first run and have read about the overdrying issues.

Is it safer to run less days on the dry and give a few more days on the cure than their craft recipe?

Ordered: April 25
Received: May 17
Shipping on west coast: so cal to pnw 3 days.
Packaging: 10/10

VCure Help!

Hello everybody,

Im gonna harvest today and I will use the VCure for the first time.

Any suggestions? Is the 14-day Craft-Cycle the best option?
I am not sure if I should go for:

5days dry/9 days cure

or

7days dry/7 days cure

I already put some humidity and temperature meters in the VCure to check the calibration(seems to be ok)
Thanks for any advice ❤️

Vcure vs Grove Bags?

Any advice on whether the VCure is worth it? Or are some simple grove bags good enough to do the trick?

I want the VCure if it’s the better option, but seeing some mixed reviews.

Smell and odor control out of control?

I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on getting a Vivosun Smart Grow Box but I'm reading so many negative reports about the smell and odor control. I would love to get some real feedback and response on this, please keep it real! What is the deal with the Vivosun smart grow box not being able to control odor? Been reading about using dry sheet stuff for the carbon filter, having a 'tent-in-a-tent' solution, or ducting the exhaust, bunch of different variants/ideas/solutions. Mostly what I read is it will reek your house and inevitably get out to your neighbours. I live near elderly people and I want to respect their peace so I can under no circumstances allow any smell to get out. Can someone please tell me if there actually is a way to do this without smell reeking out to your neighbours? Looking for working solid realistic ideas. Again my options of where where I can do this is either loft or bedroom, I've heard the box is really noisy as well and I'm concerned if I put it in the loft it'll alert neighbors. I've also seen responses from Vivosun support saying it depends on the strain, and most responses seem to have recommended the dried scent thing for the carbon filter. Is it possible to control the smell and odor using Vivosun smart grow box or not, and if so how?

1 week away from Harvest/First grow ever

Honestly just hoping for good quality flower. I'm so tired of dispo stuff. Felt like growing my own made the most sense Lol.

I have tons of genetics planned and currently in seedling stage for Gary Payton x lemon zoap and Colombian gold x NL#2 x suplex! S/o to the breeders who hooked me up!

Love from MN & thank you Vivosun!

Setup: Melon farms 2x2x4. Vivosun Aerolight A150. Same brand inline fan and carbon filter and smart controllers (E42A & GrowHub A22). 3 gallon pot, fox farms ocean forest, khalifa kush photo (white label) from premium cultivars. Vegged/LST for exactly 30 days. Currently week 11 flower
