I want to write some fanfiction with Elle as a main character instead of avid and I want it to loosely follow the original timeline.

My version of Elle will be the monster hunter who had to kill her best friend when he went feral, and she will go to Oakhurst looking for a cure and/or answers because before he died, he infected her during their fight. Elle is going to be less...jumpy and more cautious and won't be as vocal about vampires living amongst the townsfolk. She'll also be a little less social and would prefer to keep a distance between her and the other townsfolk for fear of turning into a monster and hurting them.

As with the series, she'll start losing control of her humanity and will seek a way to get rid of the curse, and that way turns out to be vampirism. She, however, won't flirt with Scott (because he's gay and she's in love with another), but she will be thankful to him for curing her (it might still be Shelby who cures her, idky on that point).

I'm going to take some liberties with my story but I was hoping to get some key canon events that I could weave into the fanfic. It's been a while since I've watched the series so my memory is a bit hazy when it comes to things that happened, and I don't want to spend ages rewatching everything right now (life often gets in the way).

I remember a few key things (spoiler for safety): >!house judgement competition, avid turning the first beacon in town, Scott and Owen turning Pyro, those same three turning Shelby, Legundo and Owen having a fight that leads to Owen turning Legundo, Owen and Pyro killing Avid then Pyro getting killed by Shelby, and Abolish giving Owen the chance to be cured and him choosing death, Scott confronting Pyro for telling others about his mine, Cleo killing Legundo once he turned the rest of the townsfolk, Ren dying in a fight because Martyn was killed.!< There's probably more I remember but again, it's hazy.

So, what are some key events that I might be able to add into my fanfic?

i just got on my reddit feed a post abt vampires which i hadn't seen for a while and when i went to the comments people were talking about the fuckface who shall not me named and i think it was avid what the hell happened i was gone for a few months 💔

I have posted about doing a sunday game in the Fanpires discord, and not a lot of people have applied to play in it yet. I know many fans of the PowCreations series aren't part of the discord either and may not even know about the server.

Im about to join a vampire roleplaying game and im looking for inspiration

So today I decided to give Vampires SMP a try, since I'm planning on watching Pantheon and kinda wanted to see what to possibly expect. Unexpectedy, I binge watched all of Pearl's POV, and it would be an understatement for me to say that I love it, but I struggle to understand the finale.

How could everyone leave if Abolish was turned back to human? And how could he leave if Pearl wasn't even turned Vampire before he left? And what about the broken beacon? How did it not mess up the plan?

I most likely just missed something crucial, since the comments didn't point anything out, but I am really desperate to know what it actually is. Is it that Abolish didn't leave before all of the beacons desecrated (making his parents' tombstones in the mean time), and that everyone managed to leave because Abolish was a vampire at one point?

EDIT: I just read the responses and oh my god thank you so much, I genuinely didn't realise that once you get cured you can just leave no matter what. Also the broken beacon just acting like it's not there makes a lot of sense, should've known. Once again, thank you for clearing this up to me, it has helped me a lot!

Like a lot of people, I’ve been dragged through all the drama, controversies, and junk that have hit this community, but I feel like I made it through. The story made it all the way to the end.

“Good afternoon, Scott and Shelby, Everything alright with you? What are you up to today?” Abolish inquired.

“Good afternoon to you!” Scott responded brightly: “I and Shelby are parting on a little excursion to search through the woods and see if we can find Avid and Owen. We just wanted to make sure they are well and unharmed.”

“That’s sweet of you,” Apo remarked and gave Scott a glance: “I didn’t know you were that fond of Avid?”

“Well, I’m not especially not-fond of Avid. I am not one to hold a grudge, even though he did make the mistake of suspecting me of murder. Also, even Owen has disappeared now, so all the more reason to go have a look. Besides, I and Shelby like to hike and see more of the surroundings.”

“Oh, nice, yes that makes a lot of sense to a person who appreciates the outdoors” Apo eyed Scott’s classy outfit up and down.

”It’s a good idea to assign a search party, now that it’s been a while since they were seen.” Abolish intervened.

Shelby nods her head to Abolish with a look of concern:
”I could tell that Avid felt pressed. He didn’t take that meeting well. He needs to know that we do want him back.”

”Yes, yes, we intend to conduct a thorough search, so if the weather permits, we can be gone for a while.” Scott added adopting a serious expression.

”Well, good luck to you then.” Abolished replied ”I hope you’ll find them unscathed, the sooner the better.”

”Yeah, good luck. And try not to ruin that stylish cape of yours now.” Apo added with a sneer.

Scott momentarily froze, but swiftly regained his composure and gave her a sparkling smile: ”Oh, the trick is not to move about like a peasant, that keeps you quite clean.”

Scott arranged his lace-embellished cuffs.

”However, I am certain that Shelby and I will be able to retrieve them, the two of us should make quite the team.”
With that Shelby nodded enthusiastically and took Scotts arm and together, the two of them headed into the forest.

Apo shot them a last glance, then turned to Abolish:
”Why Avid would be inclined to follow him anywhere is more than I comprehend, but we’ll see how that goes.”

She wished she had come up with an instant killer response to that vexatious snobs comment about peasants, but sometimes you had to take a tactical retreat.
