Help with climbing

Hello everyone,

This is my OP.GG: opgg

I've been a Vel'Koz main for about two years now, and I've consistently maintained a solid win rate on him. At the moment, I have 415 games played with a 53% win rate. I mostly play him as an APC.

For the last 70 or so games, I've been stuck between Platinum 1 and Emerald 4. Occasionally, I reach Emerald 3 at around 10 LP, but I immediately drop back to Emerald 4 or even Platinum.

Do you think I need coaching or something else to help me climb to at least Emerald 2 or higher? I've never really been stuck at a rank before, so this is new to me. I don't see any major issues in my gameplay, except that I might not perform as well on red side.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

As Vel'koz support, do you prefer to 2 vs 1 at bot lane or roam?

I love to 2 vs 1 at bot lane, because killing their adc under their turret is so easy as Vel'koz. This gives you usually first turret gold and huge gold lead.

However i am not sure if it is the correct play. What are your thoughts?
