Many people are alarmed, thinking the hacker has a playable build that includes the game's ending.

Yes, that’s a possibility, but so far, we’ve only seen the small town where the story likely begins, Jason as a playable character (with whom we’ll probably tackle the first missions, while Lucia gets unlocked later), and a cutscene that looks like it belongs to one of those early, smaller missions. The hacker likely only has development footage from the game's initial stages—which is why Rockstar isn't worried about issuing a statement or making a strategic move.

It’s just a theory, but this is more entertaining than any marketing campaign Rockstar has planned

I'm playing the 10th Anniversary edition on Android. I tried to do Firefighter fair and square. During multiple attempts, I figured out that the hose actually followed along when I swiped the screen to look around, so that made things easier. The highest level I got using the normal method was level 10. I was in Vice Point, near the Links View Apartment. I put out the fires in the 3 piled up vehicles first and managed to put out a couple people who came out. Some managed to run further away, so I followed the ones who went the furthest to put their fires out, leaving a couple running around near the apartment. I went back for them with over 2 minutes left on the timer. I was focusing on dousing one of the guys when, all of a sudden, the mission ended and I heard an explosion, the game saying "You're too late." I had no idea what happened. So I restarted the mission but, once again, I got a moving vehicle target in level 4. I got stuck chasing the car going in circles around the Jeweler's, an area with tight corners. When I noticed that my time was running out, I just called it quits and settled for the Vercetti Estate door glitch. 😑 Move the fire truck up the stairs, trigger the mission and drive into the doorway, spawn inside facing the door and with the fire automatically extinguished, drive out, turn around rinse and repeat. Yes, it was much easier, but I'm not entirely proud of it, since I beat Paramedic and Vigilante fair and square (although I did use a Tank for the latter). After the mission I drove the fire truck to the edge of the Estate close to the sea... and I blasted it repeatedly with the Rocket Launcher. Even when it fell into the water, I blasted it a few more times.

Is it just look at some wikis and maps and just do it all....any slight shortcuts? Im not looking for cheats, but the idea of finding all secret passages, rampages, etc. kind of crazy or am I just being lazy/complainy? (or both :-))!

I’m the same person from the post a few weeks ago saying that driving in Vice City was a nightmare. I just finished the game. I did the Paramedic missions in Vice Point, as some of you suggested I do. The Sunshine Autos car list was a bit challenging because the cars wouldn’t spawn, but it only took me a few hours to complete. I finished everything off with the Taxi Driver missions.

I’d like to say that I’ve memorized the second island, but the first one is still a pain in the ass to drive around!

I’m on a journey to 100% all five PS2 games. I started with San Andreas and have already done III and LCS. Now I’m finishing VC, and after that I’m planning to play VCS.

I have to say that, out of all the maps, VC is the hardest to drive around and navigate. The streets aren’t straight, and they have tons of little entrances, alleys, and curves, which makes things really difficult. On top of that, I’m having a hard time memorizing the layout of the map, which was much easier with Liberty City.

Because of that, I believe the paramedic mission in VC is the hardest in the series so far. I’m trying it at the hospital in Ocean Beach, after a failed attempt in Downtown, where the patients would spawn in alleys and completely weird places. In Ocean Beach, the patients spawn on the beach and along that little path farther south, but at least the time bonuses are pretty good. Just like in III, I managed to build up 8 minutes of spare time at one point during a paramedic level.
