Everyone at work said white walls weren’t it. I accidentally ordered them.

And honestly I think it’s kinda a flex with the 21” front wheel and the back wheel mainly covered by bags?

08 Vision Cruise Control Cancels when turn signal is on and won't reset

Hey guys, new to vics I've owned my vision for a little over a month and love this bike more than anything. But I've got a really weird issue with the cruise I'm trying to sort out.

When I have the cruise set and hit the turn signals (left or right) the cruise cancels and absolutely will not resume/reset unless the bike is turned off and back on.

I've already disconnected the roll off switch to see if that was the culprit and to my shock it wasn't.

If the cruise cancels using the brake levers I can reset it once the brakes are let off. (I'll reconnect the roll off and report back on that)

It seems to only be an issue when the cruise is already active and the turn signal causes the cancel, if I turn the cruise off, signal, turn it back on it's able to be set.

Has anyone seen something similar? My first guess is a bad module or something weird with the bulbs the previous owner did.

Anybody have a stripped Vision?

We have a Vision and since the resale in our area has dropped off we’re thinking about stripping the panels off and giving it a different look. Anybody in here done any custom work like that? I’d love to see pictures.

Dealing with idiots in the rain

Rant incoming

I am in Toronto it’s raining today. I was just going southbound on Bayview on my Victory Boardwalk at Davisville. Light turns green according to the weather conditions I was easy on the clutch but the old guy in the SUV going north decided to turn left right away right in front of me. I honked he layed on his horn and kept going. Normally I’m pretty quick off the light but am feeling grateful that I didn’t do that this time. I felt like following this old guy home and giving him a face full of my helmet but thought better of it. Just a friendly reminder that even when we’re right we lose.

Getting Old, done with the sport bikes.

Been riding offroad and on since I was 13. Always been attracted to sport bikes. My last bike was a 2016 GSXR 1000 anniversary series. Was my favorite bike by far, BUT it also brought out the worst in me.Got mixed up in the wrong crowd. I was Doing wheelies, going 208Mph because i could (it was tuned). Needless to say I sold it after 7 of my fellow riders were dead in 2 months. Now that i am 42, i have lost the urge to go fast. I now drive my car in the slow lane doing 70, i just dont care about highspeed anymore. I did have a vstar a few years back, it was fun but really had zero power. I just Found 2016 victory vegas with 8k miles. Garage kept (im in FL), hes asking 5k. It has a stage 1 exhaust with fuel tuner. What yall think?

Looking for advice on maybe getting a Judge/gunner/octane

As the title states, I've been looking at getting a cruiser and came across the above mentioned victory models. I like the looks of them stock(I'm not a big flashy chrome guy, prefer the looks of more understated/lightweight cruisers and bobbers), and they seem to be fairly affordable nowadays, so I'm considering going for one.

My questions are: what do I need to look out for on these bikes when looking to buy? Are they good for someone with a 34 inch inseam when it comes to weekend cruising? Any pain points/recommended mods and fixes I should look into getting done? And finally, how would they compare to the Indian scout/(sport)chief and would I be better off going for one of those?

I'm handy with tools, I fix all my own cars and bikes, and I'm not afraid to do *some* work, but I'm not looking for a bike that's constantly gonna be on the stands, y'know?

Vic Tic or Worse?

2017 Highball Freedom Exhaust.

Sounds like a loose metal rattle. Not sure if it's a cylinder thing or connector somewhere.

No check engine light on.

This video was after bike sat outside in Mississippi heat all day.
