Hello :), thank you for your great app!

I noticed a bug with the total duration. I played a video that is about 42 minutes long, but VidHub shows the total duration as only 6:17.

When I click the total duration on the progress bar, it changes to show the remaining time, right? Interestingly, the remaining duration is shown correctly, around -42:04.

However, the actual progress bar seems to be based on the incorrect 6-minute duration. So when the playhead reaches the end of the progress bar, it stops moving even though the video continues playing. This means I can watch the entire video, but I can’t seek properly.

Could you please take a look at this issue?

(Of course, this doesn’t happen with every video file, only with certain files that show the correct duration in other video players. I’m not sure what information would be helpful for troubleshooting, but please let me know if you need any details from me.)

Hello there for some reason sometimes I have noticed subtitles not always showing the text basically skipping the full sentences then resuming and again. Strange really...

Currently on tvOS

Please add iOS family sharing, its the only thing keeping me on infuse over vidhub. I just discovered both and much prefer vidhub's interface, loading speeds and overall feel, but I can't share it with my family and we're not willing to all pay for individual subscriptions. Cheers!

I posted on VidHub discord support but haven‘t heard much response from anyone or the developer.

I’m having an issue with the latest App Store version of VidHub on iOS and iPadOS 26.6, app version 3.03. The app crashes immediately on launch. Tried to reboot my iPhone and iPad, tried to force close the app and relaunch it and also tried to delete and re-install the app. Works for a bit and then crashes and will no longer launch.

Hi, I use my MacBook Air to send by smb movie to Apple TV. Speed seems a lot of slower than on infuse with same settings. Is it something that I can change to have faster connection?

When I try to click a link on Fusion for a show or movie, it open the Vidhub app on Apple TV but it doesn’t play.

It works on my iPad but on the Apple TV it does not play on Vidhub after invoking the link.

I’ve been using Infuse for my movie library, but recently came across VidHub and started considering switching.

I mostly watch 1080p/4K Blu-ray remuxes through WebDAV on Apple devices. What caught my attention is that VidHub’s lifetime pricing is significantly lower than Infuse’s, so I’m wondering how close the actual experience is.

For anyone who has used both, how does VidHub compare to Infuse?

I’m mainly curious about:

4K HDR / Dolby Vision playback
Dolby Atmos and lossless audio
Apple TV performance
Playback of large Blu-ray remuxes
Any features you miss from Infuse

Infuse is obviously very polished, but if VidHub handles the same kind of library reliably, it seems like a pretty compelling alternative.

Would love to hear from people who have used VidHub for a while.

Is the in-app update feature of the Android TV app broken?

I initially installed it using the link on the website (since I have a FireTV Cube 3, which does not have the Google Play Store).

Ever since I heard about the new UI launching on Android TV, I've tried clicking the update button daily for it to update. But nothing shows up.

I finally updated it using the link on the website and that worked, so not sure what's up with the update button.

Really liking the new UI btw. Looks beautiful!

I have purchased a VidHub Lifetime and I want for my family to have movies/shows on the same sources. I have purchased Lifetime on my Apple ID and I want to add this subscription on my sister's iPad (Differend Apple ID). I have signed her using VidHub QR code and the log in is successful. However, the file sources and metadata do not sync - is it because we both have different Apple IDs, or am I doing something wrong?
