My favorite LEGO Royal Drawbridge 6078 and a few other Lion Knights sets from my childhood. Even after all these years, they still look great.
Should I sell my brand new Lego nes ?
I got it half year ago for €230 because I always wanted it. Unfortunately I can’t build it,because I don’t have a place for it. Should I better keep it or sell it ?
Insectoids collection
First photo is a lot of the Insectoids, but the second is all the sets I have. I only have a few small more sets to get before I master the theme. Then it’s onto finishing the UFO theme.
MOC base on set 6259 Broadside's Brig
Hi!! Just wanted to share a MOC made base on set 6259. Added the island baseplate, a palm tree and and other things haha.
Just discovered this sub. Here's my small classic space collection.
The sets with boxes came from my uncle, although I basically just got the box/instructions and spent a couple years sourcing parts. The others are sets Ive gotten in bulk lots and then pieced back together.
Very old small boxes
Does anybody have some of these? I got them from my dad in a really good condition. Bricks are old and many of them aren't stackable anymore bit I love their design.
What's everyone's oldest set? These ar my 3 oldest ones that I have boxes to.
Set 145 is from 1974, 455 is from 1975, and 722 is from 1980.
Railroad minifigure
I noticed this railway figure from a recent post- the worker seems to have a white shirt with safety vest.
However according to Bricklink there were only ever blue shirted railway workers.
Any idea if this is a real figure?
(Note- it could be a reflection making the shirt look white)
Lego Air Canada Rescue Helicopter (610-2)
Got this one in a big lot recently. I’m still on the hunt for the Air Canada Jet Plane and so far I’ve gotten a few bits and pieces from another lot.
“Timeless Bricks” Series 3 (Midway Tavern) Updates and Adjustments
For this project, I used two large, rare, out of print original LEGO baseplates from the early days, along with vintage parts, to expand and heavily customize the set; . As always, I adapted, filled, and upgraded the interior environment in my own personal style; . I continued to focus on (adjusting contrasting colors, modifying, and adding small elements) . to highlight the interconnectedness of each set in my moc and capture the charming fairy tale aesthetic of the last century as much as possible; . to use the basic 8-color palette as much as possible to enhance the vintage, nostalgic feel; . to recreate the style of LEGO from the 1980s to the 1990s;
Quick trip to Indy and I found this place…
A must stop at “It’s a Block Party”. I was able to get parts to complete my Star Wars mini figs without worrying about eBay or bricklink. They were super helpful and have an amazing collection. It’s amuseum. Honestly I love help small businesses and this one is a gem. Trust in the Lego collecting world is priceless.
