should i remove this embroidery on this big E

i’ve had this posted on depop and ebay for like a freaking year 100$ no sale i thought these were expensive i also thought the embroidery was cool its hand done by someone who definitely loved it

Alright, need y’all’s help

I have these which I think are authentic, but definitely need a second opinion. They look like brand new? It’s almost a red flag to me how new they look

Is anyone able to identity the model from these photos alone?

Obviously they are orange tab, pretty sure they are 1970s. I was thinking the 517? but am not entirely sure. From the movie Inherent Vice if that helps. thanks! :)

Best place to sell?

Got into vintage Levi hunting a few years back and now looking to offload some. Is eBay my best bet? I see cashforjeans.com in the community bio but can’t seem to find anything else that mentions that being legit.

Probably have about 10 pairs and a jacket stored, here are a couple of examples

After searching for soooo long

I found a flannel lined jacket for $25 in an XL, I was stoked to finally find one at a thrift shop. Everything is either women’s or definitely too small. I didn’t even bother trying it on because I normally wear an XL and this is an XL. Got home washed it and tried it on. Now I’m thinking it’s too big. The arm length is perfect for my arms, and it’s not too long, but overall it feels huge. Is this just how these fit? From ‘97.

Are these 517’s the right length?

I know they’re on the short side but when buying second hand online for less than vintage shops would charge, I took a chance. I have no previous experience with bootcut or flared styles. I do like when they stack and bunch a bit so will definitely get another pair, but are these ones passing as an ok length? Can’t remember the exact specs but they’re 70’s 517, talon zipper etc. I feel like they are ok stood still but I see a bit of sock when I catch my reflection walking. Please be kind 😅

Big E Type 3 trucker Macau late 60s early 70s?

I'm happy because its my first big E, i got it a while ago, and its in near perfect condition. I think i'm autistic. Cool dark blue indigo with no damage and light crease fading. I determined it was made in Macau with button no. 350. Big E means pre 1971 and google says macau started production in the late 60s. There weren't any tags, big bummer. I wanted to know for sure if it was late 60s..

Help. Are these selvedge? Any value?

These are 505s, PC-00505-4891, made at 4996 CW-4515.

I had these in the Goodwill pile but I saw something on YouTube about selvedge edges. I pulled these out and they have that outer seam look.

Can one research and confirm or rule out by any numbers on the tag? Is there a definitive website to look up? Which numbers do you use?

Thanks in advance.

First Big E found in the wild

Sadly an early 70’s, no Selvedge. Still a great find after 15 years of searching racks and bins! Factory code is 522 which I believe was an El Paso factory!

Est-ce que ce Redline est trop court?

Hello ,

J’ai essayé un Redline mais souvent j’ai l’impression qu’ils sont courts pour moi.

Could you tell me a price at which I could sell these Levis Strauss?

Could you help me value this pair of vintage Levi's jeans? I want to sell them. Below is the description of the item I was thinking of listing: "Vintage men's Levi's 501xx jeans, size 30W 36L, in excellent overall condition (as can be seen from the photos uploaded, they have no tears or holes)

The ‘XX’ marking last appeared on the 501xx 501 transition model from 1966–68 and was only reintroduced in 1987.

The number behind the main button indicates the factory and the period of production. Number 524: 1970s–1980s in the USA (I cannot include links to sources in the listing; if you are interested or have any questions, please contact me)

Approximate measurements with the garment laid flat:

Outside length: 102 cm Inside length: 74 cm Waist: 38 cm Hip circumference: 44 cm Hip height: 29 cm Thigh: 27 cm Trouser hem: 18 cm

Equivalent Italian size: 44 Material: 100% cotton"

If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to ask

Levis x Liberty of London collaboration 80s denim jacket.

I’ve recently found this jacket in my wardrobe and was given to me about 10 years ago from a family member. I’ve google lensed this jacket to see if it was rare/ worth money and it’s story.

I’ve found one listing on Ebay for about £500, I’ve seen and article on someone recreating the jacket and found a website where someones posted a bit on it’s history and how “80's heartthrob motorcycle rider Eddie Kidd modelled the jacket and according to Fiona McKelvie founder of 'McBurney and Black' worked for Liberty in the 1980's.She tells me that once the Eddie Kidd advert came out the ‘phones went mad and we almost ran out of the lanthe fabric to meet the demand' “

Does anyone have any more info on this? Know whether it’s genuine and worth something? I don’t want to sell it, but want to know if I’ve got something valuable that I should look after.
Thank you.

Could you please confirm that 505 have its original factory hem?

Those pants are Levi's 505, made in USA, 1995.
