A roadside stand on U.S. Highway 80 in Texas, located on the west side of Grand Prairie near the Arlington city limits. This section of Highway 80 was once the primary route between Dallas and Fort Worth, but it was eventually replaced by Interstate 30. (1942)

Photographer of war and Picasso - David Douglas Duncan

Always amazed at the books you can find out in the wild. This signed copy of Duncan’s photographs of the Korean War was just sitting on a shelf in a thrift store. Signed in France where Duncan lived. Interestingly he was also known as one of the few photographers who got access to Picasso and his then wife.
