Hopefully someone here can help me with this item. The cup is marked Wear-Ever and carries the Aluminum Cooking Utensil Company mark on the bottom (with the company initials, so it's probably ~1940s). What I cannot find is any information on whether this is an actual hiker's set made entirely by the Wear-Ever brand including the nesting pot stand and alcohol burner, or if this is a self-made set by an inventive hiker. The cup fits perfectly in the stand, and the stand+burner nests perfectly in the cup, so it gives the appearance of a complete set. Has anyone ever seen a set like this and can give me some information?
