"Red Seed" acrylic on 12" x 12" canvas - 2026
Just finished this one last week. Another one in my recent series of small paintings. Made with acrylic on a 12" x 12" x 1.5" canvas. It's always a journey making a painting. I'm never sure how it's going to turn out and or even what I'm doing most of the time. I just start and react from what I first put down, and then just keep going. Almost with every piece, I doubt if I'm going to finish it to where it looks whole, and though pretty much every time I make my way there. One thing that stands out, is if I'm stuck and not sure what to do next, and I have an instinct, like 'paint a thin yellow wash over that part', and I'm scared to do it because I don't want to 'ruin it. Almost every time I take that chance and take the risk of messing it up, it works and it brings the piece to the next level. A metaphor for life I suppose. Available for purchase for your home and to enrich your life, message if interested. Thanks for taking the time to check out my art!
"Beyond The Threshold" acrylic on 12" x 8" x 1.5" canvas
I'm new to this subreddit, I was referred here by my friend consciouscell who has been a part of this group. Wanted to share a piece I recently finished, "Beyond The Threshold". Made with acrylic on a 12" x 9" x 1.5" canvas. I was inspired to have it be a wrap around image. It's available for sale, message if interested. InJoy! :)

"Exploration" acrylic on 24" x 24" canvas - 2025
Sharing another piece of mine, "Exploration". Made with acrylic paint on a 24" x 24" x 1.5" canvas. This was inspired by the concept of clearing out trauma and negative thought patterns. That we need to live through these feelings, emotions, behaviors as if they are 'real', though I find most often they are embedded in me since I was a child or even before, in other lifetimes. And as we live through these parts of ourselves, we choose whether it's who 'I' am or not. The more we keep exercising this relationship to these stuck traumas and patterns we can clear them from our minds and bodies and take some sort of ownership and control of how our brains work instead of being overtaken by them. I've often seen it as if you're shedding light to all these deep tunnels and caverns of depression, trauma, and experience and clearing it out like clearing out plumbing for water. So this image is based on that concept, where there's one main opening of a tunnel here, and multiple possible, or perhaps infinite other tunnels we can keep going down into, to clear out and heal ourselves from what holds us back. Exploration!
