New Self-Detect Blending Cup and Bowl Coming Soon

In my online hunt for used self-detect blending cups and bowls for sale since the old version was discontinued, I came across this picture and even a User Manual. Does anyone know when this replacement product will officially launch?

Which Vitamix for my needs? Based in the UK

Hi,

I'm looking for a new blender, as my Tefal PerfectMix+ started leaking after barely a few months, and now it seems to be dying after less than a year (even if they replace it under warranty, I'll be selling it and getting setting without multiple design flaws).

I am wondering if Vitamix (and which one) would be good for my needs — 99% of the time, it'd be used to make smoothies from frozen fruits, oats, peanut butter, milk and whey, 1-2x times per day.

I am in the UK, so 5200 is unavailable.

Thanks!

just got 5200 New in box for $140

FB marketplace listing. I thought it was fake. Around where I am in the North East USA, they are going for like 250 and more. This was made 3 years ago. I drove 1.25 hours to get there. Everything was new in the box. It was some amazon return on something. I didn't totally follow her story. This is my first Vitamix. Any good recommendations?

How is the customer service?

I have a legacy blender and I love it. Vitamix is known for excellent quality and longevity. Last night, I exploded my container while grinding cheese and sprayed Grana Padano in my face and everywhere! I'm heartbroken. The replacement cost is so high.

I wanted to contact customer service to find out if this is normal, How long are the lifespans of the plastic containers, etc.

Has anyone had recent experience dealing with customer service? Are they friendly, helpful?

Just wondering what to expect....

Stainless steel

I have a UK Vitamix (E310, VM0201) and am looking to replace the container with stainless steel. Unfortunately there do not seem to be options to buy any other than to buy Vitamix on Amazon through a third party seller, but reviews cite compatibility issues and the seller has lots of negative reviews. Also, the container is about £100 more than it should be for a Vitamix stainless steel container.

Any options? I’m wishing I’d not bought a Vitamix.

small blend cup for making sauces with the 5200?

the 5200 does not lend itself well to making small quantities... internet search indicates there was once a mythical 8oz blend cup for the 5200, but apparently I didn't make it to that party in time. anyone know of any available small batch attachments for the 5200?

Considering the Alto Pro off fb marketplace for $200

I’m considering buying this off fb marketplace and I just thought I’d check here to see if you guys think it’s a good deal. She bought it from Costco for $399 and has had it for just a couple years with minimal use.

I’m in Canada so I’ve never seen a deal less than $400 when buying new or even refurbished. I’ve been wanting the 5200, but this one popped up on fb and seems like a good deal.

I’m just a bit nervous about how it’ll work with the warranty with a new owner in case something goes wrong.

Thoughts?

Vitamix Blender container alternative

Wondering if anyone has found a good glass container for Vitamix Blender. Looking to go plastic free in the kitchen. I have the regular vitamix containers which I want to replace?

vitamix ascent x4 container issue

hey all,

i just got a vitamix ascent x4 about a month ago, and ran into an issue where the base is not detecting the container and just displaying the 🚫 symbol. vitamix is kindly sending me a replacement, but it feels wasteful to discard the container without attempting to fix it. does anyone have any pointers for a fix?

thanks!

Blending for your child with special needs?

If you do real food blends, how full are you filling the blender? Mine keeps stopping and needing to cool down. Am i filling it too full? Or am i doing something else wrong?
