Finally hit Master playing Vlad! 🎉

Finally hit Master playing Vlad! 🎉

After a lot of grinding, I finally reached Master playing Vladimir.

It definitely wasn't easy. There were games where I got stomped early, got flamed for picking Vlad, and had plenty of moments where I questioned the champ. But sticking with him and learning his limits eventually paid off.

Vladimir R34?

Lets just say that I like Vladimir...... ALOT, and I was wondering where the best R34 sources for vlad content are, or if anyone had any ideas. The usual website is quite lacking on vlad content, so I thought I would ask here. Thanks in advance.

Had a Tristana that literally fisted me. I never walked up without pool but even pooling her jump she killed me early and snowballed me to hell. Is this a lane youre supposed to tower hug and just fall behind or whats the proper way to respond to this ahh pick?

I hit diamond for the first time OTPing Vlad 60%WR

I just got diamond EUW for the first time after playing for 12 years on and off, just wanted to share with you guys! This subreddit + Elite500 helped me a lot, so thank you for that.
Also, I want to try and reach Masters, if you have any tips I would love to hear it, I know I need to improve my CS, been trying to get better at it.

Good luck on your climb!

Why is Inspiration secondary not more popular?

Inspiration gives you access to Cashback and Triple Tonics which pair so perfectly with Vlad that it just feels like it would be good.

Vlad is maybe the most gold dependent champ in the game, which is a big reason for why he is strong in ADC role. Cashback over the course of a game will give easily 500-1000 gold for free. Triple tonics has the ability point which vlad loves because he cares more about basic abilities than R points. It also has the adaptive pot which is really nice for Vlad's all ins, especially since his AP scalings are so high. The 25 AP legit gives 100 extra damage to his full combo early, which is a massive free spike. You can also just hold it as long as you want. The gold pot is still useful as well since early CSing with Vlad is pretty difficult. I believe it allows you to one shot casters after they take a turret shot.

It does suck missing out on the 15 basic haste from legend haste, so I feel like if you're going the full pen one shot build, it's probably worth still going Precision secondary. At the same time, against very easy matchups or just farm matchups, I think Inspiration is a really underrated secondary tree. Especially for Vlad ADC, doubling up on economy is just very fun.

Also, I'm curious, I know that Elite500 normally puts points into R before W, but is this really worth? Points in W give more damage and a ton of CDR, while points in R give only 100 damage. Surely having the W cd be a couple seconds shorter per rank is much more value than a measly 100 damage?

Vladimir Support

Hello, I was wondering what runes and build you go when playing vladimir support. I typically go deathfire touch, scorch for runes.

For build I go ionians, the purple heart support item, proto, riftmaker, deathcap, and zhonyas

Let me know what oyu think or if there is a more optimal build/strategy

Early concept of Soulstealer Vlad

Am i the only one who thinks that the early concept for Soulstealer Vlad look much cooler than the current one?

Build for Toplane ? (Diamond Elo)

I kinda know what Vlad should be building in general but I struggle to understand what is better in some situations. So I just go Rabadon Riftmaker Shadowflame every game (worst build of all time I know but I like my damage).

I know most Vlads build Rocketbelt but I find it turbo fake.

Mentality shift when playing Vlad ?

I used to be a top main, I had never played vlad until recently (like 2 months ago) and I couldn't stop playing the champ once I discovered how fun he was.

But something in my mind changed when playing the champ. Does anyone feel like big bully when playing him ? Like if you're slightly fed, you can just start all the objectives that you want and in my mind I'm legit thinking "Wtf are they going to do against me, I'm Vlad". Yk that I dont give a shit I'm rich type shit.

Whenever you make a mistake in laning phase, I'm like a little puppy going back to his mom when I recall, but the second it hits 20 minutes and I'm kinda good in the game, I turn into the main character.

I get the main character syndrome so hard that when enemies make mistakes (Like running into E's range) and it turns into a massacre, I'm pissed at how they disrespected me and underestimating Vlad mid/late game.

I'm asking here cause never in my life I felt this way with any character. It might be related to the fact that nothing beats vlad in the right conditions/comp ?

I wanna hear your thoughts if anyone is feeling this way or just me.

Is vladimir going to be in league classic

I went to their wiki and looked at the list of 40 champions but vlad was not there for some reason even though he was the 19th champion to be released

Matrixed by the CS

I used to be a Vlad OTP and played him super aggressively, diving people with Predator and trying to be a menace.

Then I took a break from League, came back, played more control mages, and when I returned to Vlad I tried to play him “properly”: no roaming, 10 cs/min, safe until late game.

The problem is, I felt useless. I was farming, but a lot of games were already doomed before I got to actually play.

I tried him again today and just went back to playing aggressive, taking fights, farming Mejai stacks, being threatening. It went way better.

How do you balance scaling with actually being proactive on Vlad?
