1)Find the dawg!
Upgrade your radar to scan the entire map and check dots in the corners!
Tango (there is something that spawns in the restricted area, but I've never found a single Fossilhound there, so ignore anything past the river).
Romeo (there is an unknown dot right at the cave entrance and Antibreather goes for a walk every night, so try ignoring these).
Xray (wisps and rarely deer like to spawn there, so a lot of false positives)
Victor (deer really like to spawn there, so again a lot of false positives).
The time is important too, Fossilhound only spawns at a moonless night. (Except for the Fossilhound/Gray boar war, but that's outside the scope of this guide).
You can only damage it with explosions, hitscan weapons don't deal any damage to it (including Funguns' primary fire), so make Molotovs, as they are easy to make and explode on impact, which is very desirable in case of Fossilhounds.
The best way to kill it without losing the crystal that i found is to lure it inside the nearest satellite and throw a Molotov behind the dawg, so that debris and the crystal are launched towards you, not into the open door (this is how i lost one crystal at Tango).
All of these crystals were looted in less than 20 days of Story mode.
You finally get into the vents at Alpha Base when suddenly you hear footsteps in there with you then boom.

Hello Doctors, I’ve been enjoying my second playthrough with Funny Mode and Custom Content enabled. I’ve been getting a lot of use out of the Radio and TV thanks to the VotV Community Broadcasts, but my other custom content is decidedly lacking in flair, consisting of a small amount of in-jokes.
Is there a way to outsource some of this image-seeking to the community? I’m not sure if images work with .txt files like the broadcasts do, but if not, even a google drive or zip file of fun, properly formatted images would be appreciated.

Just got the base level Kerfur, is it supposed to suck? Sent it out a few times now and each had to go retrieve it from either being stuck or out of charge
for now this is the way I have to contain them but is there a better one? (I don’t know if they can get out of there or if there are more and more every time I’m going crazy)

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I didn’t know what other sub to ask this in. I’ve been struggling picking a career path, but I know the workflow I want to get out of my job, and it is very similar to votv. I like how voices of the voids workflow is just a set of tasks you have to do for the day, and then you get to do whatever else you want.
I know a lot of jobs out there are not at all like this, but I like how it’s similar to that of a fire lookout for a national park. By this I mean the fact that it makes more sense for you to just live on site so you can do the tasks you have to for that day, rather than driving all the way out all the time, if that makes any sense.
Basically I want to know if there’s any jobs where you live on site, have a list of daily tasks you have to do, and then can spend your time doing whatever else you’d like. Similar to the votv daily task system.
Again sorry if this is a stupid question but I do not want to fall into the 9-5 trap for the rest of my life and this is one of the only ways I could see myself enjoying having a job. Thank you all
