Confesso que chorei

Eu acabei de terminar essa série incrível, eu sempre gostei dela e de todos os personagens. Ela ensinou muito sobre aceitação e sobre se conectar com as pessoas independente das diferenças delas. E confesso que chorei especialmente nas últimas cenas >! Quando a Allura se sacrificou para salvar todas as realidades. E ainda mais quando os Leões deixaram os Paladinos!<

Lookie what I found in the wild 😱

I found three Voltron Funko Pops at a store in the mall today! I was honestly a little surprised because I haven’t seen these in forever lol.

They’re at Game World in The Woodlands Mall in The Woodlands, Texas, if anyone is looking. 👀

I may or may not have bought the Allura one tho 🙃

Most expensive Voltron:)

Spotted this absolute holy grail at a shop in Japan today! It's the original 1981 Popy Chogokin GB-36 Golion (the original Japanese version of Lion Voltron).
The die-cast metal quality and details on this vintage box are insane, but that ¥180k price tag hit hard. Needless to say, I walked away empty-handed, but it was amazing seeing one in person!
Anyone here actually own this original Popy release?

OMG!!! HENRY CAVILL WILL STAR IN VOLTRON AND IMDb CONFIRMS IT!!!

I AM TOO EXCITED!!! What makes this so wonderful is that this is not another reboot. They are sticking with the original 1984 formula and I'm sure it will have a present day spin, but my God they are keeping what made Voltron so great! Big names like Sterling K Brown, Rita Ora, and Nathan Jones are at the top of the list.

Now I miss my collector's item Voltron toy from Japan.... a little brat destroyed it. I may have to find another one. I can't wait for the storyline and to see the direction they have taken it. I hope this has multiple spinoffs like Transformers.

Good job Henry sealing the deal on this one!!!

Original Japanese Title: Beast King GoLion (百獣王ゴライオン - Hyakujūō GorAion). This is the original 1981 Japanese anime series adapted into the iconic Western animated show Voltron: Defender of the Universe in 1984.
Toy Manufacturer: Popy (ポピー), a famous Japanese toy manufacturer and subsidiary of Bandai known for creating classic Chogokin (die-cast metal) mecha figures in the 1970s and 1980s.
Item Line: Part of the Victora / Victor Alloy (ビクトラー) line—a budget-friendly, plastic and die-cast toy line produced during the original anime's broadcast.
Market Price: Priced at ¥88,000 JPY (~$550–$600 USD depending on exchange rates) due to its high rarity, vintage collectible status, and original box packaging.

Which Voltron toy is this?

Found at a HardOff in Japan yesterday. I don’t often find Voltron out here. Didn’t buy, but it was only about $15 + tax at the current conversion rate. Not sure if it’s anything worth going back for. No box and I think the text says it might be missing pieces.

Ever since the Ending of Voltron I have never watched a lick of their media.

10 year old was so broken after the ending of season 7 and the fact that allura died for no reason that I refused to watch any of it because it hurt me BAD. I even liked that season until I watched the ending, then I thought they might release an alternate ending but they never did.

I made some custom VLD 1:12 action figures

In terms of parts usage, this jumps all over the place, but I always like to list sources, so here we go. For Shiro, the body is from Marvel Legends Speedball and the head is from a Mattel 2016 Justice League Superman basic figure. Allura is made from a Marvel Legends Gwenom base body and the head is from Jakks Pacific Breath of the Wild Zelda. Keith is made with an Anime Heroes Final Battle Naruto and the head is a knockoff Figma Kirito. I made Lance with a Jazwares Fortnite Abstrakt body and the head is from Hasbro's Dungeons and Dragons Eric. Hunk has a few sources, the base body is from Marvel Legends Frogman, and the boots and the feet hands and pouches are from Jazwares Fortnite Sludge figure. His head is Marvel Legends Ned Leeds. Finally, Pidge is made from Star Wars Black Series Omega, with the head from Hasbro Dungeons and Dragons Presto.

Any parts that weren't on the base figures were either added with electrical tape, greenstuff, or sanding. And Kosmo is just a Schleich wolf. All the parts are painted with Citadel model paints.

Since I took the group photo I also did Coran, he is made with Marvel Legends Star-Lord T'Challa and a GI Joe Classified Recondo head.
