i don’t hear anyone screaming or verbally attacking anyone in vc. everyone’s just got their mic off

Okay so for example as myself, I usually get asked what games I like when I first meet people and then I usually mention this game and then they get this weird look on their face as if I'm talking gibberish and it always confuses me; they mention newer call of dutys but never WWII and even if I ask if they know it they say "Its not a real call of duty" like hello? Its in the name!

Can someone please provide any information regarding discord groups where I can find help ??
