I have an interview scheduled with Waitrose later this week and was wondering if anyone had any advice for me on what questions to practice responses for and stiff ?

I was told today by a duty manager (one of the women who sometimes works with me on compliance) that partners who man the phones are expected to pick them up in a certain amount of rings. I had not been told this prior to today nor when I was being 'trained up' on phones (which basically meant being thrown in the deep end and told nothing lol) and it's seemingly never been an issue before. I always try to answer the phone quickly, but sometimes someone just gets to it before me, or I'm carrying stuff/moving a cage/with a customer. I feel like it's near impossible to answer the phones promptly sometimes especially when you're the only one manning them (which happens often in my store) so I felt a bit confused that she was just saying this now. Is this a new thing or has it just been the case the entire time and I was just never told?
