I got all india merit rank 23XX can I get wce cs or aiml branch osm Candidate

I have a 26XX GOPEN merit rank in MHT CET. Last year's CAP cutoff for Walchand CSE (unaided) was around 2509, so I'm not too far away.

I'm planning to attend the spot (ACAP) rounds. Has anyone with a similar rank gotten Walchand CSE through spot in previous years?

Approximately what ranks were getting CSE/IT? Any seniors who attended last year's spot rounds, please share your experience.

If i wanna go on for higher studies (mtech) abroad. Is walchand a good option over dj sanghvi, given theat dj is located in mumbai which is a hub. (Mechanical branch).

Pls help am confused asf.

Do they teach softwares like solidworks/CATIA and Ansys fluent in mechanical engineering at wce? Also do they give licensed access to these softwares?

I am considering Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli (CSE) as one of my top choices.

I would really appreciate honest feedback from current students or recent alumni.

My questions are:

How is hostel life and overall college life?

How is Sangli as a city for 4 years?

If you had the choice again, would you still choose WCE CSE? Why or why not?

So i have a good percentile but not good enough for coep but can get walchand college

I wanted to ask seniors who are pursuing mechanical already if its really worth it or i should look for other colleges

My primary priorities will be

1- mech students need resources are they made available plus state of workshops of mechanical faculty
2- teaching kaisi hai ( haan sab bolte hai yt se hi padhna hoga but still )
3- college ka environment kaisa hai crowd kaisa hai cause crowd bhi goal oriented hoga toh better rehga to know about more and more opportunities
4- Hostels kaisse hai ( managable / optional question )

from what I saw on other posts WCE seems like a really good college, but parents are hesitant to send me there "khup lamb ahe" and "tithe crowd changla milel ka?" so I need some help convincing them if what I have seen about WCE is correct so please help this (possible) junior My score was 99.12%ile so IT possible but I am thinking of Ai Ml
