Really disturbing experience at Bonchon in Waldorf. Manager mistook me for someone else and called the police

I wanted to share a really bizarre and upsetting experience I had at the Bonchon in Waldorf yesterday around 1:30 PM August 18.

I went into the restaurant yesterday, and what should have been a normal interaction turned into an extremely bizarre situation when the manager began insisting that I was someone who regularly comes into the restaurant and causes problems.

That was one of the strangest parts of the entire situation because I do NOT regularly go to this Bonchon (this is only my second time doing a pick up order. I’ve never gone in there any other time. And the first time was a less than 30 second pick up. No negative interactions whatsoever with anyone). Yet she seemed completely convinced that she knew me and was attributing someone else’s previous behavior to me.

I told her that I didn’t recognize her face at all and made it very clear that I do not frequent this restaurant, so there was no way I could be the person she was referring to. She didn’t listen to any of it and at that point, I realized I was dealing with extremely poor customer service and tried to get her name and some basic information so I could properly address what had happened. She refused to give me her name or provide me with any information. Looking back, I don’t even know why I bothered asking, considering how the interaction had already been handled.

The situation eventually escalated to her calling the police and having her scream in my face to leave the establishment. I realized I should’ve waited for police outside instead of in the establishment.
And then, as I was leaving, I was told that I was “going to jail” and to take that “ghetto sh!$ outside.”

The entire interaction was humiliating, confusing, and genuinely upsetting. What bothers me most is how confidently I was treated like a known problem customer based on incidents that I had absolutely nothing to do with.
I’ve already reported the incident through the appropriate channels, but I also wanted people in Waldorf to know about my experience because this is not something I think should be brushed aside as simply “bad customer service.” Being mistaken for somebody else, repeatedly accused of behavior you didn’t commit, having the police called, and then being spoken to like that is an entirely different level of unacceptable.

MOMs Organic Market is banning employees from wearing masks

They have been entirely ignoring all complaints/concerns and even going as far as deleting comments on their socials. Really frustrating and sad.
