Hi guys, not too sure this is the right place. I'm a complete noob in radios. I was gifted a baofeng uv-5g pro. At the time I didn't knew it was a GMRS and that I will have problems with it. I have trouble linking it to the normal channels that the other airsoft players use. I recon we use PMR446 channels un the EU? Let's say we use channel 9 at 446.106 and I set r/T-CTCS as suggested at 77.0MHz. I can hear the other players just fine but can't talk to them. On one of the fields I recon that the staff were able to set my radio at a pmr channel and have it successfully talk with the other radios. I can't seem to be able to pinpoint the issue.

I just got a walkie talkie for the first time a Motorola T210 and need help understanding I search the channels and hear people and they sound like they know each other but at the beginning they would say something like “207 WRG” or something or would ask for a radio check I try to talk to them but it sounds like the don’t hear me or sometimes I will search channels then hear randoms Morse codes that play every so often. Also hear robotic voices about the weather or something. And I would hear random people on my channel and I’ll try talking to them but they don’t hear can anyone tell me or help me understand?
