Sherlock Holmes

One of those places that looks unreal in person — especially from the Neva side when the sky starts changing colors. The architecture is pure Rastrelli: light blue walls, white details, and those massive silver-blue domes rising above the trees.

Hard to believe this masterpiece was started back in the 18th century.

Saint Petersburg really knows how to mix history, weather, and drama into one view 🙂

Took this photo during an evening walk in Saint Petersburg.
The Bolsheokhtinsky Bridge looks completely different at night — quiet water, reflections, and that old steel architecture glowing over the Neva.

Hard to believe this bridge first opened back in 1911.
