STOP hugging the deck

I see it way too often, people in very capable aircrafts are hugging the deck all the time and try to multipath 10 fox 3s coming at them.

I know that sometimes it's needed while stock grinding, but you should play on high altitude as soon as you can!

It may seem complicated at the beginning, but as soon as you understand that Speed + Altitude is your lifeline your gameplay and K/D will change dramatically.

My very poor explanation of how a HEAT jet works in case anyone cares

the explosive pushes the copper together with a ton of pressure and squeezes it so it forms a very fast jet made of microscopic copper fragments that penetrates armor

Sorry if I missed some details

Just got my first nuke!

Sorry for image brightness, I use HDR.

I wasn't even trying to go for a nuke, just casually playing and on my 4th point capture I suddenly notice the nuke icon. I was playing in a nearly-spaded Marder A1- and a stock Luchs A2 (with parts).

Was genuinely surprised it was possible getting a nuke with only 6 kills.

ussr vs china air tech tree in arb

since the anniversary sales are just around the corner, i want to buy either the su30mkk or the mk2 amv, but since they would still cost quite some money, i want to grind their respective tech tree aswell, and i need help to decide which one i should get since i want the tech tree with the better jets overall not only in top tier or mid tier, i want both to be good, and not to be specialized to a single playstyle like the mig35 being good only for close combat since if you sustain a turn fight you will get sniped by an enemy fox 3 at some point, i want both mid tier and top tier to be the best of both worlds like be good in bvr and close range, while also having fun in the premium im getting because i cant grind with a vehicle i dont enjoy. From what i know the mkk is slightly better due to chinese missiles, but i fear from what ive heard that the chinese top tier suffers, but ive also heard their planes are amazing, so im in a confused state right now between the ussr tech tree and the chinese tech tree, respectively getting the mk2 or mkk. Also this will be my first top tier jet so i need one that doesnt have a high skill ceiling, ive played a lot with usa 10.3 until now and have been training extensively in test flights with the su30’s in order to get used to the radar. Ive tried asking AI platforms but their answers are slop.

HOTAS, KBM or Controller for War Thunder?

For simulation mode, what do people who usually get a lot of kills in matches use?

naval mines

mines shouldnt despawn, there should be designated mine sweepers to pick them up. This would greatly improve realism and mine use in ec

King Tiger should be 4.7 BR /s

Clearly these are not comparable tanks, but to demonstrate the trollyness of the KV1, even vs a very strong round.

If both of these tanks are hull down, the King Tiger is easier to kill, with 269mm of Pen...

When using standard AP it's even more of a joke. This thing faces short 75mms!!!
