I've had this happen a lot and it really impacts my SR gain. I'm not complaining. I'm just genuinely curious because it makes no sense to me to risk losing SR by disconnecting.

Hey, to all the sweats out there that play on ps5(or basiclly console), do you have any tips for better sound? Obviously i can not use eq since im playing on ps5. Tried some diffrent iem's and settings, streaks are still far too strong and audio feels very inconsistent in general. Im a solid player solo'qed to crim2 but i just want to hear the game properly please🙌🙏

Over these past few games I’ve put thousands of hours into cod and somehow I always fall short. Every year I peak crim 2 in multi then warzone around the d3 range. Currently like 1 game off to hit d3 and I feel like I can’t get any better. I somehow win my 1s against iris easily but the one time I die my whole team is dead or dies right after very annoying I don’t know how I can get better.
Hit crim 1 four days ago solo Q, played the last two nights and hit crim 2. 11 more days left to hit Iri. Wish me luck.

Just want to see everyone’s opinion on the cheating situation in ranked. The anticheat obviously isn’t working, there are still people using “undetectable” cheats. And yet there’s no other game that has these issues. This guy had a t250 teammate btw so that tells you how most of them get there.
High Crim Multiplayer player here and I have switched to Warzone Ranked for a little just to mix things up a bit. I'm still new to it and was told that the adjustment period would be around 2 weeks, but it still seems like I can't really get anything going. When it goes wrong it just goes horribly horribly wrong, and I don't really have any consistent strats. I would very much like to hit Iridescent during the lifecycle of this game and I have my personal reasons for wanting this it basically means a lot to me. Any advice on the fundamentals from Warzone Ranked Players e.g. where to land, can I use guns that I like using, to push or to anchor, what to do at each circle, what if nowhere is free after you die etc. I'm ready to take in any advice and do whatever it takes to hit this rank (except from anything illegitimate of course). I've noticed the absence of any real YouTube videos trying to explain this mode properly and therefore advice from any Iridescent+ player would be appreciated.
Finally did it, solo Q most of the way. I can now rest.
after time and time and time again ending seasons 50-100 sr off crimsons i was finally able to get it in warzone almost completely solo q as i had a trio through d3

This season I decided to take Warzone ranked more seriously and really focus on the fundamentals. I knew the basics before, but actually applying them consistently in game is a completely different story.
From the very start, I was getting matched against IRI, Crim, and 250 players nonstop. It was brutal at first, I was getting absolutely destroyed for a while. But over time I started figuring out how to play against them. One weird thing I kept noticing is that some Plat players will just go AFK strategically or play super passive. I was convinced a bunch of them were smurfs just messing around, but who knows i’m appreciative regardless lol.
Anyway, after grinding mostly solo queue (way more than partying up), I finally hit Diamond. The randoms I got matched with who were Diamond and above were also life savers and its how i knew the difference between you certain golds and plats.
If any of you were in my lobbies, it was fun playing with y’all!
Anyone else have a similar experience grinding solo queue this season? What’s been your biggest takeaway or struggle trying to climb?
when reloaded drops ill grind a bit again if anyone wants to run some! for now ill be on apex doing the same✌️ twice.
