Beta designs of the watanare girls on Twitter

Honestly really like Ajisai’s design, kinda wish they kept it (though they probably changed it because she looked a bit like a gyaru… hmm… maybe that’s where that gag came from)

I don't understand what the point of Lucie is

This series is already struggling to balance just the quintet (Kaho didn't even truly have a volume to herself) + Haruna, it really doesn't need to keep introducing more characters.

In general, the pacing feels a lot more plodded so far in books 5 and 6 overall, and it's kind of hit an issue I have with a lot of harem anime where it mostly stop doing anything with the girls once they've been added to the harem and starts focusing instead on adding more girls that it'll mostly start ignoring once their addition arcs are over.

Rena-zoned

What if we started using the term "Rena-zoned" to describe a situation where a person experiences something in their love life similar to Renako. For example, if a person you met very recently confessed their love to you (especially if said person is fairly popular or rich), you could say you were Rena-zoned. I think it'd be funny

What’s everyone’s theories on what volume 9 will be about?

Spoilers in comments obviously (also rereading at the moment so some details I may of missed)

I theorise that the next volume is where Renako officially proposes to Satsuki to join the poly crew, Reneè and Renako finally have a talk about wanting Reneè to respect Mai’s choices and let her be with who she wants, Renako’s mother has a scene at some point (possibly confronting Reneè or getting made aware her daughter is dating girls) and I believe we may get in the epilogue a brief look into how Kaho feels about all her friends dating and we end of a Cliffhanger where we are in Kaho’s point of view and see a bit of her home life before ending with a single tear drop going down her face in private.

I just read volume 5 and the ending is giving me a bad feeling.

People who are up to date on where the story currently is, does this situation turn into a complete shitshow like I'm worried about or is it not as bad as I think it's gonna be?

Tbh I prefer romance Anime/Manga/LNs where there aren't outsiders meddling in a relationship they should have no say in so I'd prefer if this situation doesn't escalate too badly tbh.

I remember reading the line about her mother not wanting her daughter to have regrets but to me she seems like the biggest issue in her daughter's life, you shouldn't drag you're kids into your career especially one so burdensome and you shouldn't really be meddling in their personal lives either, not saying their relationship is a mistake (but I could see how it is from her perspective rn) but you should have the mindset of letting your kids make mistakes, to learn from them and be there for when they need it instead of pointlessly meddling as that's not being a parent, that's being a controlling narcissist (I certainly wouldn't want her as a mother, that's for damn sure). Imo you should only really meddle if your kids are getting into something dangerous or something they can't come back from and an unusual romantic relationship doesn't count as that, she's happy and knows full well what she's getting into.
