Help me buy first watch in budget 🥸

Hello People,

I need a watch, my basic criteria is it should not look big on my chicken wrists, should come in 10-12k & versatile for day or function wearing. I can wait for sales no rush

Is this watch worth the buy for my parents?

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to gift my parents a set of couple's watches, and I'm currently eyeing this Titan set.
As shown in image_2.png, these are the Titan Black Dial Analogue Couple Watches (Model: NM17342569KM01). I really like the classic, dual-tone metallic look with the dark dials—it feels very elegant and appropriate for them to wear on special occasions or daily.

Before I pull the trigger, I wanted to get a second opinion on the pricing and value. Based on the checkout details in image.png, here is the breakdown:

Total MRP: ₹13,915.00
Discounts: ₹1,391.50 (Offer) + ₹1,100.00 (Coupon)
Platform Fee: ₹10.00
Total Payable: ₹11,433.50

Basically, it comes out to a little over ₹5.7k per watch.

My main questions for the watch experts here:

  1. Is ₹11.4k a solid deal for this specific Titan set, or do these go on sale for cheaper?
  2. How is the build quality of Titan's couple collections these days? Are they durable enough to last them a long time?
  3. Are there any other brands or specific models in the ₹10k–₹15k range that I should be considering instead?

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance!

Timex TW00ZR263E – Worth buying?

I'm planning to buy the Timex TW00ZR263E. Is it worth buying in this price range? How's the build quality and durability for daily use?

Also, if there are any better options around the same price (₹1,000–₹1,500), I'd appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!

Eye of the tiger redeemed with a lizard strap

The factory strap on this watch was honestly terrible, so I barely wore it. My girlfriend gifted me this strap recently and it completely changed the watch's appeal for me.

I was deciding between a croc and a teju lizard pattern. In the end we felt croc would be a bit too loud since the dial already has a lot going on, so we went with the teju instead.

I think it complements the dial without trying to steal the show. What do you guys think?

I'm also open to suggestions if you think there's another strap that would suit this dial or something suited for different/special occasions.

WOTD: The ultimate financial plot twist!

In frame: Sanda Tank Watch paired with aftermarket 20mm Titan Strap (Reference Wrist Size~ 7").

My most affordable purchase till date. I know how it's a straight up knockoff of The Cartier Tank with Japanese movement inside but somehow I got it for ₹300 (including shipping from China) a year ago and for that price, I have no issues wearing it as a beater watch. Ironically the strap it's paired with cost more than the watch😅.

P.S. Clicks are taken from Realme GT Neo 2.

Acrylic crystal in Timex Marlin or Hardlex crystal in Seiko 5 Sports which watch crystal is more durable and scratch resistant?

I was looking to gain some knowledge about the crystals used in these two watches. I know Sapphire crystal is the best and the most scratch resistant, but sadly two of the watches in my wishlist don’t have it. I have seen multiple people complaining about getting scratches in these two watches.

So I want to know acrylic or hardlex which one is more prone to scratches and also from which crystal it’s more easier to remove scratches?
