Tony Drake & Associates

Has anyone received a US mailed invitation from Tony Drake & Associates back about a week ago to an Eric Clapton concert on 9/13/26 in Milwaukee with having box seats, an intimate dinner and of course the concert?. There’s only supposed to be a brief introduction but the evening is supposed to be strictly social. The letter does mention limited availability but for those who reply, they will receive confirmation initially that they were selected and Tony Drake looks forward to seeing you on the 13th!

Apparently, you receive another confirmation about a week later that either you’ve truly been selected or you are added to their wait list which seems tacky to me.

It kind of reminds me of being invited to a wedding as a second tier guest.

Their marketing team must decide which potential clients have high enough assets to warrant being selected and perhaps socialize with their current high net worth clients and which potential clients may be selected in case some of their 1st choice potential clients can’t attend after all.

Is this a common practice or unusual?

Why not just limit the invitations on the front end rather than trying to capture a greater number of potential high net worth clients and not offend other high net worth individuals. Poor taste in my opinion.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Brunch at Milwaukee Improv?

Has anyone been to a drag brunch at Milwaukee Improv? (Yes, I know it's in Brookfield.) Was it fun? Was it crowded? What was the menu like? How early should I get there for a good seat?

Challenging Hikes within 30-45 minutes of Waukesha

Hi all! I just moved to Waukesha and am looking for some challenging hikes in the area. I am okay with driving 30ish minutes to a spot.

When I say challenging, I mean elevation gain and/or distance. Bonus points for scenery plus lookout spots.

I am hoping for specific spots or trailheads rather than a general trail that might span 10s of miles. Anything would be appreciated though!

Assisted living recommendations?

Unfortunately it is time for us to consider moving my mother into a more senior community. She is still quite independent but she has asked for more help lately and wants to move somewhere with some level of assistance. She prefers living near Waukesha so that she can use the bus system, but would consider the greater Waukesha County area if there is a shuttle or other transit offerred.

Anyone have any recommendations or advice on this process? As I am touring these facilities, what are some good questions or things to look out for?

Crowley vs. Tiffany: What do the policy proposal sections of their campaign websites say about healthcare?

These candidates may have said more about healthcare on advertisements or in interviews, but this is straight from their policy proposal sections of their campaign websites.

Made using Canva. For Crowley's, he does have more than this on his website, I just could not fit it all onto this page.

Deep cleaning for house

Hello! My husband and I are newlyweds and just bought our first house :) The house is in need of a deep clean with some specifics like the stonework on the chimney needs dusting and washing and the walls need to be wiped down and de-odorized, however that can be done. The family before us had 5 dogs, a cat, a bird, and a rabbit all living inside of the house and there is a lingering animal smell. Please recommend any one or business that you know will do a thorough job! Thanks

Fixing up a house before selling

Hey every1, i'm gonna put my house up for sale soon, do I fix the "issues" it has or do I sell as is? Since most people will update how they want anyways? It's basically paint, new carpet on stairs and little stuff, nothing major.. thanx.

Jewelry store that can resize a ring?

I’m finally going to resize my engagement ring. (I’m confronting reality; don’t think my weight is going back. Lol) Unfortunately, all of my previous go-to Waukesha jewelry stores are no more. Any good recommendations?

Local handyman?

I am not good at anything home related it seems and would be looking for nothing more than help hanging a single item into drywall. I already took measurements, used a lazer level, and tried installing drywall anchors myself, but something isnt quite right and I can't get the item to securely sit against the wall.

Does anyone have any recommendations for such a simple "project" that I should have been able to do myself but can't? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
