On May 26, HENDERY officially established his personal studio, marking a new chapter for the 26 y.o as he spreads his wings and breaks out of his cocoon once again, ready to explore even greater possibilities while continuing his journey on multiple paths. Beyond the stage, he is a fearless motorcycle rider, a disciplined Wing Chun practitioner, and a naturally witty entertainer. Each side comes together to reveal the many dimensions of his captivating personality.

HENDERY began practicing martial arts at a young age under an extremely strict training regimen. While most children his age were still enjoying long hours of sleep, 10 y.o HENDERY spent every morning holding horse stances and training on the wooden dummy, building a solid martial arts foundation through years of disciplined practice. To this day, he considers that rigorous training one of the greatest treasures of his life. One moment he's serious, the next he's joking around. One amusing memory from those days is that because he joined the school the earliest, his seniority was exceptionally high. According to martial arts etiquette, even uncles in their 40s and 50s had to address the young HENDERY as "Senior Brother".

After being discovered by a street scout and successfully becoming an SM trainee, HENDERY realized he has now spent ten years in Korea. Throughout his trainee years and career as an idol, he once believed he had left his martial arts background behind. Yet his body remembered what his mind had forgotten. On the highly competitive K-pop stage, the martial arts foundation he had built over the years quietly remained in his muscle memory.

This explains why his dance style combines broad, powerful movements with delicate details. Every pose and every burst of strength reflects not only precise choreography, but also the explosive control and restraint rooted in traditional martial arts. Those years of strict training eventually became an invisible suit of armor supporting him as he pursued his dreams. Looking back now, after years away from home, HENDERY feels nostalgic about Wing Chun, wishing he had continued practicing it, as it remains a symbol of where he came from.

Recently, HENDERY returned to his hometown to attend the 3rd Macau International Comedy Festival. At the event, he taught a robot the festival's theme dance and even danced ballroom with comedian Song Xiaobao, bringing plenty of laughter. Having previously gone viral for recreating Zhang Cheng's absurd "Five in a Row" dance, he was excited to finally meet him in person.

Having recently earned his motorcycle license, HENDERY has become fascinated with riding. For him, putting on a helmet creates a world of his own. Every twist of the throttle and every turn becomes a conversation between himself and the road. Growing up in Macau, surrounded by the city's long history of international street racing, motorcycles always felt familiar. His favorite bikes are from Kawasaki's Ninja series. Their sharp green lines contrast strongly with his gentle personality. He's not interested in naked bikes, ADVs, or cruisers, he prefers supersport motorcycles. For HENDERY, the greatest appeal isn't speed itself, but the peace that comes with complete focus while riding.

HENDERY enjoys watching anime, and his favorite character is Sanji from One Piece. Unlike many characters who gain extraordinary powers through Devil Fruits, Sanji relies solely on his own body and relentless training.

He sees himself in Sanji. Before being street cast at 17, singing and dancing had never even crossed his mind. Entering an entirely unfamiliar field while starting behind everyone else, what ultimately allowed him to debut wasn't talent. It was relentless hard work and perseverance.

Offstage, HENDERY often listens to DPR IAN and Rich Brian. He admires DPR IAN's ability to combine music, visuals, and personal experiences into one artistic expression. He also enjoys reading Rich Brian's interviews, trying to understand how the Indonesian artist continued growing through passion and persistence before reaching the international stage.

Rather than copying others' success, HENDERY hopes to learn from their willingness to keep exploring and challenging themselves. Growing up in the Greater Bay Area, he naturally developed a love for Cantonese music. During the interview, he quietly hummed songs by Eason Chan and also spoke about MC Jin, admiring how he dominated Freestyle Friday for seven consecutive weeks. For HENDERY, singing Cantonese songs feels especially meaningful.

As the interview wrapped up, HENDERY casually grabbed a tissue and tilted his head back. He had suffered a nosebleed that morning and admitted,
