[Hiring] Developer to handle maintenance and non technical operations for a microtask platform
Iโm looking for a dedicated developer or dev team who can help us grow subreddits at scale.
In order to do this, youโll need to take over development of our current subreddit growth platform - a portal where users can sign up, complete subreddit growth. It needs major work because I outsourced the development to dev who just vibe coded the whole thing and he needs excessive guidance from me.
You will need to be responsible for recruiting users to complete the tasks. Though i can help with this - itโs pretty simple with google ads.
You will also be responsible for coming up with solutions to bottlenecks we may face during operations.
For example:
- if certain tasks are not being completed by users, resulting in some subreddits not growing fast enough, you could add a โhidden tasksโ feature that restricts users from completing certain tasks until the priority tasks are completed first.
- Adding a system that automatically generates new tasks when a new subreddit gets made.
For this position, youโll need to be a very creative, innovative thinker who can solve complex bottlenecks that we will face during operation. Think outside of the box to address any issue that prevents us from accomplishing the aim at scale.
I basically want someone who can take full control and ownership of operations on their own. Itโs way too tedious if I have to run, test and find bottlenecks and list them for my dev to fix. I want the dev to be doing all this testing and non technical operating as well.
Though itโs unconventional, I am hiring a developer for this project because I have tried hiring a regular marketer for this role but it does not work. A conventional approach involving a spreadsheet and a bunch of contacts is not scaleable in any way.
Happy to pay between $8000 to $12,500+ per month for someone to take over development and maintain a site like this long term + a few more similar sites.
