My Welt is a brick (E1).

170 speed and tons of effect hit rate (unfortunately no eagle set), yet he just stands there, eating SP and not doing shit. His ult takes forever to charge and while his amp is decent enough, the uptime is bad. I have no clue how people make him work as a pseudo sustain for sustainless runs.

Is this guy just an e2/e4 merchant? I'm massively disappointed in e1 tbh

Welt Sub-DPS vs Support for Himeko Nova?

I’ve seen a few posts about one or the other (although surprisingly not a lot) and I wanted to open a place to kindly discuss which one you think is better and why.

Personally, I was building him as sub-dps to run with some combo of Sunday/RMC/DHPT (MBlade is with Ash) but saw a post saying sub-dps Welt isn’t good (no explanation given). I figured a lot of people may have a similar question.

Let the (healthy) debate begin!

Building Welt for Himeko Nova

Hey all! I was wondering what relics and LCs would be best for Welt if I'm wanting to use him in a Himeko Nova team. Would greatly appreciate it if you could also include an estimate I should shoot for in his stats. Currently he's at E3 (and if I don't off banner him while pulling for her I'll use a companion spirit on him and expect I'll need to do so).

My current team plan is to run:

H.Nova / Welt / Rem TB / DHPT

Welt Light Cone in Himeko Nova team

I’m building him as a support (Eagle + Vonwacq). I have S1 Pearl, S2 GNSW, S5 Tutorial (which is currently on Blade), S2 Eyes of the Prey, and S1 Boundless Choreo.
I’m going to run Himeko Nova with Welt, Mortenax Blade, and RMC/DHPT, so Pearl isn’t a good option since DEF Shred is going to be 100%+, and I don’t know which Light Cone I should use for him.

WTF do I do with 4 copies of Welt's Cone?

Standard Banner loves to give me Welt's cone.

As far as I can tell, no one ever wants it and it's beaten out by other signature sigs and the old standbys like Tutorial.

Which LC should I use for welt?

I plan to run him with Eagle and Vonwacq for Himeko Nova (I plan to run him with Himeko Nova and Mblade), so Pearl isn’t a good option because the DEF shred will already be 100%, and Tutorial is on Blade. So, which LC should I use for him?

Help me build Welt hehe :)

Hey guys, this is my current build for my DPS Welt (E1S1). The team is on the picture but I'm having some confusion for his BIS/teammates. Currently I have:

  1. Bronya (E0S1)

  2. Cyrene (E2S0)

  3. Sparkle (E0S0)

  4. Ruan Mei (E0S0)

  5. Cerydra (E0S0)

  6. Robin (E0S0)

I'm planning on pulling Sunday later though, but is my current team the best for now? Or could I replace anything to make it even better?

Can welt be used at e0?

i only have e0 welt and i kept seeing online where people use e4 welt and im like shit. im also saving for himeko nova and welt is going to be one.of her teammates, im scared that like e0 welt will be trash.

Is Welt just not worth using until e4?

I have him at e2s1 (with his sig, yes i am that "lucky"), i've leveled him up, but it does't really feel like he is doing anything noticable in combat
