I bought this set off of Amazon option "Lionhead B" i think they're 4 tower?

They're roughly 35 mm belly with a 41 mm ridge, should i keep or return these?

Seems to be a small chip on one of the tips, but other than that, great for $9 a pair! (In the two sets deal on their Etsy, one for $12 and one for $6)

I just finished acclimating my beginner set, I live in the desert poor things, and am excited to begin my journey of patience and discipline.

It’s awesome that this community exists, I can’t wait to post updates and see how everyone else’s sets are progressing.

This was a very inexpensive beginner set and I see that they’re not super well matched I’m already thinking of upgrading to a better pair from Etsy. I would appreciate your input.

I went to the place to buy a pair of walnut and this pair caught my eyes. They feel pretty good, but I don't know what type of walnut this is.

Got it on aliexpress, for ~40$.
Looks a little bit pre polished and have some black spots.

Can these be removed in some way?

Is it good overall for that price?

They weren't there when the walnuts first arrived but after some hard nylon brushing, they appear all over the walnuts

Thank to the answers I received from the other post, I decided to get this pair from a local guy. They are pretty light, but it's quite alright. It's so funny that something which looks so rugged and strong is so soft on the inside.

Since the bone of these walnuts are said to be thin, how can I prep this for the initial stage? Thank you for your time!

And yes I am drinking an espresso and a matcha (latte) at the same time

My walnuts arrived today which I'm really excited about! However, I can tell there's been carving to at least one of the tips (for more even pairing from what I can tell) and there's minor chipping on a couple different spikes. Will this affect the patina and would this still be considered a good pair?

My Nanjiang Shi basking in the morning sun. A couple of months if playing and brushing. And yes, I used metal brushes to remove the hoarfrost. No gloves whatsoever.

I've been using a wire brush to clean out frost on the pairs in figure 3 to 6 and everytime I brush theres more frost. What do I do to fix it.
Also really need a denser brush.
Also also how fast do guanmao become really red and shiny?

I've seen similar ones available in some shops but they're way fatter in shape. Has anyone had any luck using aliexpress, taobao, or another website to purchase from that are legit?

How do I understand which brush at this point I need to use?

I’m been rolling/brushing them for a month.

I was using the soft brush, and hard tooth brush.

Today the missing brushes arrived, the hard and the medium one.

Also I have the polishing gloves.

So which pipeline should I use?

Usually I do brush->roll->brush, and roll with gloves once in ~3 days, sometimes I use a needle to remove very deep white spots.

Also overall rating is welcome! Are they a good pair?

Supposedly means artillery round these are bone density quality almost a month in.

These are some crazy squashed and pumpkin looking boys! Lol. What do you guys think?
