Places to go dacning/clubbing

Hi everyone! My friends and I (Mixed group of F and M, 21-22) were planning to go out dancing/clubbing in West Palm (we're from Stuart originally). Since Respectables, where we were planning to go, is closed for the remainder of the summer, we were hoping for suggestions of places to go that could maybe have a sorta similar vibe. We really just want to drink and dance so any place that has music, drinks, and a great vibe would work! Looking for suggestions!

WEST PALM BEACH/ MIAMI/ FORT LAUDERDALE/ FORT MYERS/ TAMPA/ ORLANDO/ GIRLS

HAVE YOU SEEN ME? Are you a person who frequents adult entertainment areas?! Do you often frequent night life in any of these areas? Do you work security? Lyft? Uber? Rideshare? Do you RENT CARS in or around the WEST PALM BEACH AREA, work in a neighborhood girls frequent and maybe saw a new face? Maybe you like cameras, or order girls and you have seen a new girl in your frequented locations? Caucasian female, tattoos ( LOVE on her knuckles- BEAU-TIFUL her back upper thighs split in half and on both thighs- and a black widow spider on her shoulder) tall, thicker girl?

We have reason to believe she is in or around this area and could be in a situation where she can no longer contact family or friends and all social media, phones and cards have been canceled or deleted. Her last call to a coworker at her previous work in Detroit at LEGENDS leads us to believe she is in need of OUR HELP- YOUR HELP- THE PUBLICS HELP. She’s a dancer, 30yrs old, thicker, pretty woman with distinct tattoos who loves the gym, and came here willingly to work in the adult industry as she danced in the Detroit area for the last few years until complete darkness after the 27th.

Her family and friends have never gone this long without a word from her while also being aware and familiar with her job this is out of character- please- think back to the end of may early June, DID YOU SEE HER? Rent a car to an out of state girl who paid cash????

Leads are dry, no contact or visual sighting after may 27th. BUT on the 27th she was seen in the west palm area and did apply to some local clubs… where she was turned away for size. Where would you go next? WE NEED THE PUBLICS HELP. I may be familiar, well versed and understand this lifestyle but I’m not originally from Florida so any and ALL help is welcome. AND NOT JUST CLUBS! She would be maintaining somewhat of a normal schedule still we hope if she’s here still willingly… we just find that hard to believe when every lead ends on the 27th.

Please. The world is huge but Florida is not yet it’s feeling massive to us lately in our search, someone had to have seen her- are you that person????

miami fine dining - worth the drive from west palm or not

our anniversary is coming up and i want to do something nice. we usually go to places in west palm or palm beach gardens. solid spots but nothing that really wows anymore.

my wife mentioned wanting to try a michelin restaurant. said its on her bucket list. i get it but honestly the drive to miami is such a pain. traffic on 95 is always a mess and parking is a nightmare.

looked at Stubborn Seed in miami beach cause someone at work told me about it. the food sounded legit and the portions are apparently reasonable which is rare for tasting menus.

but now im stuck. is the food good enough to make up for the traffic and parking headache. or should i just book something local and call it a day.

anyone from west palm made the trip. how bad was it.

Fireworks

So...usually im like "you can tell who the americans are who DONT shoot fireworks in the daylight hours"

But since its hurricane season and rain comes and goes I can understand it. We wont be able to see it but I'm more understanding about it and when it turns to night we'll see more of it if the weather doesn't literally rain on our parade

I Like That The Best Dating Experience Is Working Retail

I was looking for social dating groups via meet ups but there was only LGBT dating and nothing for people who were straight. And I remembered my time working retail as a cashier and I met and talked with so many people just scanning their items and chatting up people as they come in.

Some of the best looking woman and the coolest guys that no one would finding just with online dating.

If you're single just look do your hair up and look nice then go work retail and you'll find someone eventually

Best Fourth of July celebration in South Florida

Hi everyone! My dad is visiting from Colombia, and he wants to experience a classic Fourth of July celebration while he's here. He was especially excited about seeing a parade, but it looks like the only one this year is in Sunrise.

We're trying to decide between Boca Raton, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, or driving to Sunrise if it's worth it.

If you could only pick one, which city has the best overall Fourth of July celebration? Is Sunrise worth the drive for the parade, or would you recommend another city instead?

Thanks in advance, and Happy Fourth! 🇺🇸

I wonder if they’ll leave the second, older sign to hedge their bets.

Genuinely wondering who is buying all these new luxury condos downtown

just drove down dixie and I swear there are like three new cranes up since last month alone. Its actually getting exhausting trying to navigate around the constant construction and closed lanes

I mean its nice that the area is growing but it feels like west palm is just being completely paved over for out of state money. my landlord just gave me my renewal notice and the increase is frankly insulting. I spent all morning trying to see if there's any hope of the housing market cooling off here and ended up going down a rabbit hole reading some market breakdowns by larry mastropieri just to see the actual data. honestly seeing the average sale prices now just made me want to cry lmao

it just sucks feeling like you are getting entirely squeezed out of your own hometown because some developer decided we need another 40-story building of $5 million penthouses. Is anyone else at the point where they are just completely over this whole "development boom"?

Autobody shop in West Palm?

Looking for a place that could replace my Toyota Solara soft top, not many places seem to do that on the convertible tops. Anyone know a place?

tired of the social scene

i know weird people exist everywhere; but my experience living here has just gotten worse. i’m in my early 20s, and there just doesn’t seem to be a profound sense of community or social safety.

i’m trying to be more open to different experiences, event groups with people closer to my age. there is just a lot of opportunism, and many uncomfortable experiences, even in potential friendships.

i don’t want to include uncomfortable staring from people outside of my age group, but it does wear on me, especially with the current social messaging that can encourage these pursuits for gain.

i had a better time when i was attending college locally, but it was still difficult to sift through. curious to know if anyone’s had better experiences living elsewhere, or if you’re similar in age and having a better time here.

Any experience with Lumaire and neighbourhood?

My wife and I are thinking about moving to West Palm Beach from NYC, and Lumaire is one of our options.

Any feedback, experience or advice about the community and area?

where do you actually go for a nice dinner in this state

born and raised in florida. ive been to most of the big cities. tampa. orlando. miami. jacksonville.

and honestly i struggle to find good fine dining outside of miami. maybe im not looking hard enough but it feels like everything is either a chain or some overpriced tourist spot with mediocre food.

but what about the rest of the state. where do you go for a nice meal in tampa or orlando that isnt a chain. feel like im missing something.

Buying home - Wellington, Jupiter, or Palm Beach Gardens?

Hello,

We recently moved to West Palm Beach from another state.

We are planning to buy home within a year, and we are visiting open house almost every weekend. Since we have a preschool-aged child, good school district is the most important factor.

We are thinking about sending our child to private school from either middle school or high school. Of course, if we are accepted at top private Kindergarten (we prefer schools which have until 12th grade), we would like to send our child to private school from Kindergarten but we assume for Kindergarten entry, unlike middle school or high school, most of seats are reserved for legacy family and it would be difficult for us to get in because both of us are not originally from here.

Which area do you recommend, Wellington, Jupiter, or Palm Beach Gardens (or somewhere else)? Since we are completely strangers, we appreciate any inputs, both positive and negative.

Below are our thoughts.

- Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens

We liked a number of gated communities.

However, we are concerned that when we check school rating for the past 20 years on Palm Beach County school district website, there are some schools which are constantly A-rated while some schools rating fluctuate between A and B every few years.

Also, for some reason, there are a number of areas where elementary school and middle school are constantly A-rated while its high school is mostly B-rated (even sometimes C-rated) for the past 20 years. For example, Wellington High School is constantly A-rated while Palm Beach Central High School is not always A-rated. This is the biggest concern in case our application to private schools fail and we need to send our child to public high school.

In the state where we used to live, geographic exception was very common. Is it allowed in Palm Beach County?

- Jupiter

Gated communities are a little over our budget. I haven't checked thoroughly yet, but Jupiter looks better as it looks like they have more A-rated schools evenly for elementary, middle, and high schools.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Best Restaurants/Take out

Hey everyone, just moved here a few months ago. Have discovered a lot of great restaurants downtown, but all are expensive and more upscale it seems. Any great local takeout places around or great casual options. Looking for a good Sunday night takeout dinner. Thank you!
