Grew up here and had my mind blown after visiting NY and traveling, realizing that other places have young people/vibrant communities and culture.

Meanwhile we live in a retirement home for antisocial boomers. Most are nice people but by definition not doing anything else with their lives.

So what the hell can we do about this???

Places like Osheas, Respectables, and other parts of clematis are awesome but rare.

Kava bars are chill, idk if they build community.

Car reliability/city design is a huge issue that puts the young, poor, and the old under house arrest.

Solutions?
The only thing I can think of is better public transport but besides that I think we’re just cursed to a retirement home if we don’t want to move away.

Would really appreciate input/opinions on what we could do as voters/consumers.

Can't believe our tax dollars will be used to pay royalties for using Trump's name. Thought it was just his name, not a whole royalty deal on top.

We are going to the jelly roll concert in west palm beach at the Iready financial amphitheater and I was wondering if anyone that has been there in the lawn seating knew if they were cool with bud or not. TIA

Hi all! Currently looking for enemies or other nemeses to have in the greater West Palm area. I don’t mind traveling anywhere from Tequesta to Boca.

Some loves of mine: fancy leased cars with Quebec license plates, traffic when the president is in town, gas stations where I can buy kratom, people picking mangos from backyards, the turnpike (specifically southbound at the Lake Worth on-ramp, and the new Boynton ramp), and restaurants with QR codes for menus!

I’ve always liked gardening. I’m from New Hampshire and had a nice raised garden bed I built and grew tomato’s and I’ve worked landscaping jobs before but I want to learn how to work on beautiful gardens. Even if I have to volunteer at first. Does anyone know where I can learn more about gardening by actually gardening, or know anyone that would hire? I’m a capable 34 year old man, I just really love the outdoors and plants, trying to know everything about them. Weird request but worth a shot!

I’m supposed to travel to the Palm Beach area later this week and I’m hoping someone could share if there are sargassum blooms on the shores of Singer Island currently? And if it’s as bad as the news reports make it sound online (i.e. massive, record-breaking blooms). I want to be able to comfortably swim and spend my days on the beach…

I recently seen a video by a Black conservative influencer named Rob Smith walking Downtown. He said he doesn’t want to see the “Bonnet Brigade” in West Palm. Black neighborhoods that are still trying to recover from the crack epidemic are literally 2 miles away from Downtown. Same things are said about Singer Island. I grew up in these areas and it’s always been like this.

Palm Beach Lakes - anyone know what is going in there?

My husband and I are visiting the Palm Beach area for the first time next week and I’d like to know how strict the dress codes are at some commonly dined at restaurants in the area.

Particularly:

Palm Beach Grill -
Can women wear open-toe shoes/sandals as long as they are not beach flip flops? Can men wear slide on sandals, such as Birkenstocks, as long as they are not athletic slides?

Henry’s at The Breakers -
Do people actually wear cocktail attire to eat dinner at this restaurant? Will you be turned away if your outfit is a touch more casual, but still chic?
