Recently moved to San Juan and I’ve met so many people and discovered so many places here. Just wondering, do you know any businesses in San Juan, particularly around Urbiztondo, that are owned by locals? Like born and raised in La Union.

I’ve noticed that a lot of businesses are owned by foreigners, investors, or people from outside the province, so I’d love to intentionally support more locally owned spots. Restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops, small businesses, anything really. Would love your recos! Thanks much!

Hi, ask ko lang if you know how to commute from San juan La union to Tarlac?

Naka book na ako ng bus (Partas) back and forth to Manila pero instead of going back to manila sa tarlac sana ako dideretso, pwede ko ba sakyan yung originally booked ko na bus then pa drop off nalang ako sa any bus stop along the way to Tarlac? San ako pwede mag transfer ng bus to Tarlac po pag galing ng La union?

i recently got a gym membership sa Anytime Fitness sa SM La union. wala lang napapansin ko lang na mostly don ay may Circle of friends and masaya nag gygym
(don't get me wrong ha, i know the main goal is to workout, be healthy and be in shape) i just want someone to hang out with, talk between sets

This is gonna be my first outing with my friends! We want to surf in Elyu late august, your thoughts would be of great help to me in regards to the ff:

- Where is the best place to surf?! Are there any recommended resorts? Places to Stay?

- Do you guys have any reccos for must visits like cafes/churches or landmarks for great photos? How about for Night outs?

- We plan to drive all the way there from manila so any tips n tricks about the travel?

- Anything we should be worried about regarding safety?

Travel date Aug 17 Monday morning

1. If incase hindi nalang kami mag book, may masasakyan ba kami na bus to which terminal na same sa Partas bus na may own cr? And comfy?
2. Marami ba kainan sa bus terminal sa Cubao?
3. What specific bus to Batangas? Same terminal pa din ba? (batangas grand terminal kami papunta)

Hello! Ask ko lang po saan ang source ng water ninyo and how much po ang water bill ninyo per month? Naka deep well kami and may sariling pump pero parang ang gastos niya sa kuryente? So ang options ay:

• magpalinya sa water district, or
• bumili ng water tank para hindi laging nagpupump ng tubig

Kumusta po ang panahon sa LU today?
Maulan po kaya this coming weekend?

As someone na mahilig gumimik sa SJ bigyan ko kayo ng tips sa mga gustong pumunta dito soon.

Uminom muna kayo sa places na mura like turtlebeach, store sa gilid gilid or (ang pinakadabest) bumili ng alak sa 711 then magdala ng camping chair at table at pumunta sa tabing dagat - nakasave ka na, nakalibre ka pa ng music. (madalas pumepwesto kami malapit sa little surf maid kasi may banda dun at sobrang lakas ng music, maririnig mo din talaga na parang nasa malapit ka lang)

Pag medyo amats na tsaka kayo pumunta sa target nyong bar like flotsam,hara, after hours, etc.

ang ideal time na pagpunta sa mga bar is 10pm. pero kung flotsam/hara ang pupuntahan nyo, 7pm palang pumila/pumunta na kayo kasi bandang 10pm puno na yan.

sobrang pricey ng alak sa SJ ngayon at kung gusto mong magenjoy na hindi masyadong nabubutasan ang bulsa, try niyo yan hahahha always naming ginagawa yan at so far sobrang saya naman ng experience.
