Doritos commercial from 2009 that is about a woman being harassed by strangers shouting the words "Dime Vaquero" (Call me Cowboy) at her, in the context that they had all seen a private video of her, that her boyfriend shared online. The ad was never pulled off the air and ran full course.

Before the Ley Olimpia law was passed in 2021, there was no law in Mexico that specifically criminalized digital violence or the unauthorized sharing of intimate images and videos. To be accurate the commercial only aired in Mexico, hence maybe why many people hadn't heard of it before.

[TW] Tim Burton defending Johnny Depp, and blaming girlfriends he had for not helping him. Depp started dating Winona Ryder at 26 when she was ~17, and Kate Moss when she was 20 and he was in his 30s.

The racism was already bad enough, but it's not shocking when you consider how Burton writes female characters in his films, or has them be portrayed.
