I've watched free-to-air French TV (France 2 and 3) excellent cycling coverage for a few years, but this season it seems to 'see' Windscribe as an ad blocker ("Un bloqueur de publicités empêche le visionnage")
Has anyone got any suggestions for specific connection settings? Obviously I have closed any ad-blocking extensions, emptied cache and history, tried to connect from different French locations, with no luck. French TV spends a fortune on its Tour de France coverage and I miss it!

For the past few weeks, it hasn’t let me watch anything because it says I’m using a VPN. I’ve noticed that the content available for my location doesn’t appear either. In the menu, I can only see Netflix’s generic content. Sometimes I can’t even log in.

I’ve tried disabling all ROBERT filters and using ‘Time, Location and Language warp’. I’ve tried using just the browser extension on various browsers (Firefox, Brave, Waterfox, Vivaldi) or just the Windscribe app on W11. I’ve also used both at the same time, but it still doesn’t work. I’ve even tried on a Mac and still haven’t had any success. And I’ve tried different connectivity options such as WireGuard, IKE, Stealth, etc.

I’ve tried different servers and several countries, including where I live, but it doesn’t work. Nor does it work from the country where I registered the account.

Please, how do you get Netflix to work with Windscribe?

i totally fked up. No one fkin server doesnt work, there is no fkin hope. I tried everything, connect with amnezia, dpi bypasses, reinstall etc. Especially in this week Windscribe work with big troubles.I spent $70 on yearly subscribe, wtf guys? The last survived server was Fika, Sweden and now it doesnt work anymore

I'm not sure how it happened. I received a DMCA notice and had both running. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Maybe I have some settings set up wrong. It was because I downloaded house of the dragon season 1 + 2. So I got a notification from both. But not sure how they detected it?

I use BitTorrent web through my browser, and also have windscribe on for my browser. I also have windscribe app up for my whole system but I have split tunneling set up to exclude my Plex server. Kinda bugged I got the dmca notice tho

New server was working for a week. Now it's dead. It just proves that everything is banned by IP. DPI is just fancy shit really.

Have had Windscribe installed for a while on my Windows laptop and last few days when trying to launch it first shows a UAC prompt about InstallHelper.exe making changes to my pc which has never popped up before, after allowing it fails with an error. Account works from android phone and tablet no problem. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Today marks a week since the VPN has been down for users in Russia

Yesterday, the support service told me that users from Russia can connect to specific server where the VPN works

Moreover, changing the amnesia settings has absolutely no effect on whether I can connect to this server or not

I have few complaints:

Support team is silent here

I don't see anyone working on resolving the issue

The support team refused to compensate for the time the VPN was down

Apparently there is a bug when connecting to servers that are available on both free and paid users.

I'm a "build a plan" user and i have paid for Netherlands and if for example i connect to Stroopwafel which is a free server half of the times it treat me like a free user, the 3 dots next to the ip are grayed out, so ip rotation doesn't work, also ipv6 doesn't work either. I have to reconnect once or twice to make it work. I have test other countries and servers the last months with the same results on both on Android and Windows 11.

Does it happens to anyone else or it's just me ??

Hey, so there is all this fuss around Proton trying to do linguistic gymnastics around not taking sides after sponsoring a far right french guy and Mullvads ceo donating a lot to a fascist party.

Apparently I can't seem to load my feed on Facebook while Windscribe is on, or anything else.

I have used all 3 Spanish servers and all combinations (Stealth, VS túnel, etc)

I'm trying to watch from Canada connected to Brazil and I can't even watch on YouTube at 720p. Is it only me?

I have windcribe pro. Windscribe is not connecting at all on my phone (iOS) and computer (Windows, browser extension). No servers or protocols solve the issue. Just infinite connecting loop.

Is windscribe down or is this a PEBKAC situation?

Hi there,

My subscription tried to renew automatically today but failed miserably because the card linked to my paypal account was expired (<- this has been fixed at once after receiving the failed payment notification).

I contacted the infamous Garry earlier and he basically told me to cancel my subscription and start a new one. However, he also told me that I would lose my discount by doing so... which is obviously not what I want.

Since the renewal date is today and the system hasn't retried the payment yet, what are my options to process this payment manually so I don't lose my current "cheapest plan ever" discount?
