I get around 15mbps only!(until cpu core bottleneck)
But using ProtonVpn openvpn config it goes to 25mbps until bottleneck

Hello everyone. Anyone have experience how is working now in Russia, generally Sverdlovska oblast. 5 months ago when I was there I could not connect and use vpn, also Proton and Psihpon, only Amnezia managed to connect and I could use WhatsApp and Telegram, Signal during my stay. Forgot to mention I was using all of them free, not payed versions.
I have been using Windscribe since 2017 and have always considered them a great VPN. However, recently I have been frustrated because I accidentally bought a year pro rather than a monthly subscription, and not realising it wasn't in my local currency, and being a broke student, spent more than I currently can budget.
I purchased this subscription less than week ago, so I thought I would be able to do the refund without any issues, as I had only needed it to download a file that was a few gigabytes. Unfortunately, because I seemed to accidentally have left it on afterwards, I exceeded the 10 GB refund limit by 5 GB. This has been making Garry unwilling to treat my request seriously, as I am technically not eligible for the refund which is only up to 10 GB of usage.
Since the overusage issue is so minor, accidental, and I have extenuating financial circumstances, I was hoping to get in contact with a human about the issue. I see people on this sub who have been granted forgiveness for worse overuses, so I feel this is not too unreasonable of a request. I don't know how to get into a contact with a human, though, as Garry is shooting down every plea.
Worst case, I wouldn't even mind having my subscription reduced to one month and paying that rather than the yearly, if a simple refund is out of the question. I just can't afford the full year at the moment with how tight my budget is.
(INB4 before someone asks how I paid for it since 2017: I should mention that in the past, I had mostly been relying on the discount plans, and it hasn't been a continuous usage. Also, my claim about the "accidental purchase" of the year rather than month sounds dubious but I hope can be believed, because I was in somewhat of a rush to download this file and selected the wrong subscription option.)
my accounts are all blacklisted and when i try to create a new account it says use your original "(account name)" but i do not have access to the original account and it's linked mail. it happened about a year ago and since then. is there a way change my original account to another account instead of the current original account? im actually so sorry for making multiple accounts to bypass the gb limit.

I'm trying to connect to Netflix in the UK while on holiday, but it always detects the VPN. I've tried all the Windscribe servers in the UK, Wireguard and stealth, and GPS spoofing is on in the app and dev settings (Android).
Anyone have additional suggestions to get this to work?

Paypal has been my payment method for a while, and I never had an issue with it. Now I do. Paypal had my subscription to Windscribes Cheapest Plan Ever listed as "no payment option" just like my old discord nitro sub that I never reupped, or a server I stopped hosting. All of these except Windscribe (Which I did not know until AFTER checking my account) were inactive and had no payment option because they were ancient. They were all from old cards no longer on my account. So I unlinked them all. Then I get a notif from paypal that my subscription has been cancelled? So now I have until the 27th and hope Windscribe can run it back so that I don't lose my plan. I already sent an email. Now I just have to hope someone can help.

(Final Edit):Issue has been resolved. Will not be returning to Windscribe. It's been a fun 9 years. Sseth has brought me to the light of a new VPN.
Receiving pop-up proxy https://us-east-142.totallyacdn.com requires username and password when using windscribe vpn. Is there a fix? Really pissing me off because it interferes with whatever I am entering on a given page.
Saw this in another forum. Not sure how this works as some say you need to be a new customer, but that seems vague to me. Does that mean new account or new purchase customer and more. I know with some eSIM providers you can purchase the eSIM but you don't install the eSIM or activate it until you're ready to use it. Below are the links.

Anyone else have issues with buffering with IPTV? At 1st I thought it was the IPTV provider but when I switch off windscribe it works fine. Any fixes or things I can try to get it to work better?

In OPNsense, I have a Windscribe VPN connection configured using Wireguard that routes all of my internet traffic through a Windscribe tunnel. The VPN tunnel itself works very well, but I'm having connectivity issues when trying to use the Windscribe DNS server that Windscribe provides.
For some reason, on random occasions, I just suddenly won't be able to connect to the Windscribe DNS server anymore. I do a DNS leak test, and it shows me I'm using my ISP-provided DNS instead. If I go into OPNsense when this happens, I can also see that my Windscribe "gateway" is "offline" (even though it's not) simply because it can't access the DNS server.
To fix the issue, I need to go into the "Unbound DNS" -> "Query Forwarding", disable the Windscribe DNS, enable some other DNS service (like Quad9), then enable the Windscribe DNS (only *then* will it actually connect to this DNS server), then disable the other DNS service, and suddenly, when I do a DNS leak test, it says I'm using the Windscribe VPN DNS server.
Under "System" -> "General", I don't have any DNS servers specified here, and I have the WAN override disabled. The DNS server is properly configured in my Wireguard VPN instance/peer, and the firewall isn't blocking the connection (I checked the logs). Under "Unbound DNS" -> "Query Forwarding", I only have two DNS servers enabled (my local domain which forwards to Dnsmasq DHCP, and the Windscribe DNS).
Basically just wondering if anyone else has had any issues like this using the Windscribe DNS server for the VPN?
