Rabbit's Future in Springtime with Roo is one of the darkest scene in any disney Winnie The Pooh

The reason i say that is because the fact rabbit's friends left him because of his attitude is quite dark

At first rabbit just thinks they're just messing with him but the more he realises that they're gone he becomes more scared and depressed

And that scene where rabbit tries to get their easter stuff to make up for his behaviour only to realise they're gone really shows how hopeless e everything seems to be

Someone is selling the complete storyboards from Winnie The Pooh and The Honey Tree (1966). I finally get to see the how Disney story artist were able to bring to life our favorite silly olé bear, and see what was cut from the original featurette.

Giant stuffed Winnie the Pooh

I have this giant stuffed Pooh bear that I got around 2001. The tag is very worn but I can see “The Walt Disney Company” on it. It is made of really thick material and stands about 3ft tall. Would it be worth anything??

I got this book yesterday and have to say it's pretty good

While it of course has a slight Disney bias, it has a lot of good stuff in it, from Sheperd drawings and sketches to work in progress stuff from the Disney features. It starts with talking about the original books and drawings, inspiration and characters to then discussing the Disney stuff. What I like is that it while the text contains stuff I mostly know already, it has a lot of neat pictures, like obscure non-Disney merchandise and info on the first printed Pooh books.

The page layout is good too, giving the pictures room to breathe while still having enough text to get a general overview of the characters and franchise

Anybody else pick this one up yet?

The Forbidden Pooh Story

You can blame (or thank on my end) Sears for this. I heard that Disney didn't even really approve this, but it aired anyways. At least the album version had Sterling Holloway in it. Happy 4th.

PopMart Winnie The Pooh Collab!

My first pull from the new Popmart, Winnie the Pooh Treehouse Theatre came today! I got Save the Dinner! One of my favorite scenes from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh! It is so adorable, Pooh and Piglet are both flocked and soft as can be to the touch! This one is middle peice so I can look foward to pulling a top, more middle peices or a bottom and build the oh so iconic honey tree!
