Advice for a beginner/amateur audiophile looking to impress on a budget
Hi y’all. I've been looking around for headphones that kick above their level in terms of sound quality and durability and since im not quite the audiophile yet, I was not ready to break the bank on the top tier and quality headphones like the Sony WH-1000XM6 so I settled for a nice cutesy and affordable one I found in Alibaba. Now I'm also looking for more options. I'm currently looking for a wireless speaker to be able to carry around whenever I go for road trips with a couple of friends. In most cases we have been to hotels, cabins or airbnbs that had no sound system of note mostly just the sole tv which doesn't usually have the best sound system available. This leaves us bored to death or having to play music through our phones which is as dire as it sounds. I'm looking for something that has a long battery and deep bass and is easily portable. What are some of the best wireless speakers you know of that wont burn a hole in my pocket and will impress my friends once I bring it out? We mostly listen to house music and some mainstream pop and hiphop.

Requesting wireless speaker recommendation, but (probably) very different than you're used to.
I've never been a "soundie" (my affectionate nickname for people for whom sound quality is almost as (or more) important than video quality. For years I've just used a Dell AS501 sound bar. All I want in sound is "crispness". I don't even need stereo. This is for my home desktop PC and the only sound use I have on it is Netflix, Youtube, etc.
We recently rearranged things and I'm trying to reduce the number of wires going all willy nilly, and a wireless speaker seemed like a low-hanging fruit way to do some of that.
So, with that in mind: Any recommendations for a simple, basic, wireless speaker that "just works"? While $ is always a factor, it's not the top one here... I'll pay a little more for something decent. Do any of them have, for example, some kind of auto-off feature? Auto-on (that seems unlikely, unless we're talking about WiFI and Wake-On-LAN which also seems unlikely)? Also, is there a reason to go with Bluetooth over WiFi, or vice versa?
