From what I understand, a captains seal and scrolls are most worth the money. But what other things are good purchases? I spend $20-$30 here and there on games I like, and I love this game! Just don’t want to get things that’ll help me out the most.

I am going to build a Sans Pareil. I finished to craft all the materials in my personal island (around 150t). I suddenly realized the only way to build the ship is to take all the materials to an island that can build Rank 2 ships. How are we supposed to carry all the materials? Is there any other way rather that transporting it with your ship? Is there another approach I am not aware of? How do you guys do it? :)

Why does everyone hate QRY? Who are the top dogs? Who betrayed who? I’m interested

Basically, this games information appears lackluster and surface level at best.

Builds are made through experimentation but no concrete numbers are found

Such as the calculation the game makes to find ramming damage, or percent chances of fire starting, actual boosts to consumable boost numbers

I’m just real curious to see if anyone has put anything together

I suspect the EU players might have done so already in the past and this information might be gate-kept, hoping there’s a good library out there with some updates information.

Just close your eyes for a second and picture it... a version of this game without the firestorm. I get they gatta make some money but dam that ship is crazy broken. There is such beautiful balancing between all the ship tiers and different line and then comes the firestorm. It cannot be both fast and super deadly. Most stern cannons in the game? Ok but why on a fast ship! Fine it'll be a mission but just stay in front of it. Wait it breaths fire? Where and how is one supposed to fight this ship? I don't care about a small pay to win advantage like the lanterns, I don't mind any of the other premium ship(but it would still be best without the coin ones), but dam I hope they patch the firestorm. It is disrupting the natural order! The game could be way more interesting without it.

PS. before the p2w protectors attack me, I have indeed spent real money on the game, but I refuse to spend it on a ship that gives such an advantage as I am opposed to the practice. It's the principal of it; I would rather pay a sub to play than have to deal with premium ships. It wouldn't be fun for me to win that way.

Hello, I'm pretty new to the game and I'd like to ask some recommended upgrades for the sans pareil. I'll mainly do Pve to grind for the HMS Victory. Any recommendations for cannons and upgrades? I was thinking of spending 2 mil gold on 48 pdr carronades, hurts my pockets but idk seems like a viable option for pve. What do you guys think? Thanks.

Looking to join a neutral player vs environment focused guild with ACTIVE players

I wanted to know how long it takes for the design to get approved. I havent heard anything for over 3 days now and also did not get my coins back. Do you get a notification that it has been approved or does it just pop up in your design inventory?

Preferably a Trade Union guild that is good at defensive PvP.

The benefits of playing with a black flag are too good to ignore! But I honestly hate all the nations and I'm interested in joining a neutral pvp clan 💥⚔️🛳🌊⚓️

So let me give quick history. Been playing on NA since dec. Work a lot so my time played not a ton. With no guild I have like Max or close to max rep with 3 factions.

I own the 2nd transport ship, a constitution, and unlocked most of each line. Still aways to go. I'm bored of running goods, I'm bored of doing same stuff.

So few nights ago I wandered onto the EU server. Started doing tutorial. Just made a horizon. Saved 66k gold after 2nd night.

Before logging for some reason I looked at ships for sale and to my excited 😊 😊 😊 eyes there was a Blackwind for 27k!!! I snapped that sucker up fast as rest of blackwinds where 100k or more.

What an amazing boost! I started thinking new server let's play different, at level 8 I had not used any points so I went the Battle route unlocked use of 3 captured ships.

Now I'm thinking let's seek advice on how to min- max this situation. I'm seriously considering going pirate this time or military. I don't want to do the rep grind and honestly I'd rather fight npc ships it's more fun.
What ships do I seek to do most dps, someone on another thread I read was Baron ships are good for this. Not sure if I could capture a Baron ship with my Blackwind.

I am most looking forward to the potentially expanded Map / Endless sea expansion if it coincides with their next Q3 road map plan....

Brand New player here, does scuttling my ship mean it'll be destroyed forever? Or will it get repaired on port again, also do other players loot my destroyed ship after?
