Shoul i grow hair for wolfcut?

I’m thinking about growing my hair out a bit more and trying a wolf cut, but I’m not sure if it would suit me.

The first set of photos is how I look right now, and the second set is from when I had just started growing my hair out. That second hairstyle is more or less what I was going for, just with the hair a bit longer — something like a flow hairstyle with a more grown-out back.

I’ve always had relatively short hair, so I’ve never really worn my hair long before. I do like longer hair, though, and I feel like medium-length hair suits me better than very short hair.

At some point, my hair started getting heavier, and that’s when it completely stopped holding any kind of shape. Now it just kinda hangs there, and I can’t really get much volume out of it without using spray or other products. So I’m also wondering whether longer, heavier hair actually suits me, or if I look better with lighter hair that has more volume and shape.

Right now I’m not completely happy with how I look while my hair is growing out, but maybe I should just trust the process and see where it goes.

What do you guys think — should I keep growing it and give a wolf cut a try, or stick to shorter hairstyles like I’ve always had?

Would a Wolf Cut suit me? (looking for a specific kind)

Been growing my hair out for a few years now. most of my hair is up to same length so I usually wear it in a bun or ponytail because the second I don't I become a Hagrid lookalike lol or just blows into my face constantly XD. (Note: I don't usually tend my hair a whole lot or use any specific products or so aside from of course shampoo and conditioner)

(+ nowadays on summer it's too hot to wear it down) so been looking for a sorta shorter cut/style that I can wear with my hair down that looks good and since I learned about wolf cuts I've been really meaning to get one but I have my doubts. (I know you sorta need volume for it to work best so I'm not 100% if my hair fits that bill) but I'd like it so:

  1. it can be relatively short enough that it won't be too much of a nuisance with the summer heat/showering. BUT

  2. It can still be long enough for me to still put it in a half ponytail or bun while not looking bad.

Sorry for the paragraph haha I just want to get all my details covered. What should I do? Btw if you guys think a different long/medium haircut/style might suit me better I'm open to suggestions).

Thx for your time and have a nice day!
