Mixed metals done right
Gold and silver layered together across necklaces and bracelets, with a lock pendant anchoring the whole thing. The old rule about not mixing metals is long dead. Are you team mix or team match? Photo shared by a customer with her permission.

Recommendations for jewelry?
Hi everyone :) I'm 25f and looking to build my own collection of jewelry. Most of what I have is low-quality, tarnishing, costume jewelry from over the years and i would really like to start my "big girl" collection, for lack of a better term. Can anyone recommend any brands that sell solid metal pieces (I mostly wear silver and sterling silver, but any solid material is fine, too) that are affordable? I'm a young lady lol so...not a ton of money to be spending but enough where I can save up for quality pieces if I want them. For example, the most I'd want to spend on a piece is about $150-200 if not cheaper -- I believe in buying it nice or buying it twice and I'm tired of buying new jewelry that ends up tarnishing after a few years.
Open to different styles, just need brands. Thank you so much!!

I feel in love with diamonds.
Hi. I'm a mature man (48), dentist, with a quite classic style : everyday in shirt, dress pants and tassel loafers. And I fell in love with diamonds : I’m not used to wearing jewelry (except for a classic men’s watch), but I would like to have both ears pierced with real diamonds. I keep thinking about them. My wife encourages me : she finds it very refined for a mature classic man to dare this, and she wants to choose me real diamonds set in yellow gold (identical whose worn by women). But I am a bit stressed because I wonder how I would be perceived as a mature man with classic style to have both diamond-pierced ears, especially by my patients and doctor colleagues. THANKS so much for your advice.

looking for a modern opal necklace as a gift: how do you style it for daily, casual wear?
hey everyone, i am currently planning a gift for a close friend and i really want to get her a custom opal necklace that she can wear every day.
while hunting for a unique stone, i spent some time checking out white opal auctions to find a piece with vibrant color shifts. since opals can sometimes lean a bit traditional or vintage, i am trying to figure out how to frame and style it so it feels fresh, casual, and modern rather than overly formal.
for those of you who wear or style women's jewelry daily, what kind of chain types, metals, or setting designs would you recommend to keep an opal pendant looking effortless? would love to get your input before finalizing the design!
Where do I find REAL silver jewelry?
Rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, piercings and ankles
I hate when jewelry tarnishes, that hasn’t happened since I started getting stainless steel rings, titanium
or white gold (still looks silver enough to me lol).
It’s hard to find those types of jewelry on amazon(that I don’t own already), so I’m just looking for other sites or stores.

Thanks Reddit!!
I will also take suggestions on jewelry that doesn’t tarnish :)
