Happy 2 months, Wonders of Sodor
I look forward to what this game will soon offer!

Dovetail should make the railway busier in Wonders of Sodor by adding AI-controlled engines in explore mode, similar to how Rockstar handled pedestrian and traffic activity in GTA 5. Currently, AI engine sessions run only in story and timetable modes, but not in explore. Bringing this feature to the explore mode would create a livelier, more immersive experience, rather than having just one controllable engine and empty tracks.
Additionally, Dovetail should consider adding a cinematic camera mode for exploring Wonders of Sodor, allowing players to view trains in action from different, movie-like perspectives. Including a stationary viewpoint—such as from a hillside, station, or bridge—would enable players to experience the railway as a bystander or passenger, similar to iconic scenes from the classic series.
Could that idea work? I do not know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see since we're pretty much in a content drought right now I think it would be a good idea to say some suggestions or list out a lot of ideas we could have for the future of this game, because I am actually very passionate about this game. I feel like it could surpass the show. The fact that this is a game admired by people who have been around since the 90s and have wanted a game like this, it feels incredible that this game is getting a lot of attention, and for good reason, of course.
The only little issue is that the game is stuck in an area where it could continue to move forward, or it could be at a standstill, but that is just me being dramatic. I am just excited about what this game has to offer because I just adore the graphics and the idea that I can immerse myself in this world and control the trains myself.
I got the inspiration for this post from a tweet I saw yesterday. Why wonders if Sodor is still fresh in the minds of fans, the hype that it once have around the time it was first released seems to have settled down for now. With everything that we know, how do you guys feel about the game so far?
I think I’ve said how I felt more times than I can count so I just want to know how you guys feel. All I can say is that I am happy this game exist, but it leaves a whole lot to be desired. Some people like it for what it is while others if not, most are disappointed with the result and felt it was rushed, which I do agree with.
But yeah, what do you guys think?
I can pull the carriages through the tunnel but when I push them back, I keep failing when I go past the signal.
What am I doing wrong?
