Sharing this for working students here who are doing TikTok affiliate marketing or thinking of trying it as an extra source of allowance/income.

Usually ang advice for beginners is to reach the follower requirement, add products sa showcase/yellow basket, then start making content. Pero something I don’t see discussed as much is how content creators actually find brands and affiliate campaigns once they start taking it more seriously.

Aside from looking through TikTok Shop and reaching out to brands manually, I recently came across ShopSlayer, an open TikTok affiliate marketplace in the Philippines that connects content creators directly with brand campaigns.

Basically, brands put up their campaigns, then TikTok affiliates/content creators can browse available brand deals and opt in instead of emailing or DMing brands one by one.

If you’re still a student and starting out, though, don’t treat affiliate marketing as easy or guaranteed money. Focus muna on learning how to make good content, finding a niche, understanding what products your audience actually likes, and being consistent. Then once you’re comfortable creating, explore TikTok affiliate platforms, affiliate marketplaces, and brand campaigns instead of relying only on random product links or cold messaging brands.

Hopefully this helps anyone here who’s trying to earn while studying. If you’re already doing TikTok or Shopee affiliate, share your tips din for other students, especially what helped you get your first sales or brand opportunities.

Hello, i’m a medical student currently and sadly i’m delayed because my family is struggling with finances, my parents are retired.. and i have to buy a lot of medical materials for my school.. i sacrifice time and units so they wouldn’t pay too much of a money. But time is running out for me because they couldn’t support me anymore for my studies.. i don’t know what to do anymore and i have loans pa because i needed it to support myself.. ang mali ko dun.. i have different loans for different lenders which has different interest fees and payments.. which is too big for me to pay now.. i have part time but it’s really small salary.. i don’t know how to trade, to have passive income from something.. i’m planning for digital marketing? But i really don’t know how to start and progress in raketph and sell.. i hope someone helps me because i really want to become a doctor 😭
