Probably shitty weather but, good people and a lil bourbon in the evenings.

If y'all have any advice. I've got this 1981 midnight special that will occasionally spark but most of the time it has no spark.

I've chased wires from the battery through the kill switch and starter switch to the ignition control box. I get a dc read out that matches the battery voltage all the way to the ignition coils.

The issue I'm having is that the wires going to the ignition coils are not swapping to ground and I believe the cause is the pickup coils not sending a strong enough signal to the control box (.34 ac volts) to trigger the transistor.

I've swapped the coils out with a set from eBay but I'm having the same issues as before.

Is there anything I could be missing that could impact the ignition system like this? I'm running out of tests to try.
