I bought this XBOX 360 off of Facebook Marketplace. It was supposed to work perfectly, but I unfortunately was lied to. It does this when I turn it on, and I don’t know how to fix this issue. Any ideas how to fix this? I’ve never repaired anything before.

Any idea how to fix this? I’ve tried the obvious, and seems to be a sensor/calibration issue (Kinetic itself can still move). I know it’s an old thing, but worth the fix as they are hard to find.

I'm planning to get the gta trilogy from the Xbox original console but wanted to play it on my Xbox 360 slim for experience for fun and maybe even 100 those after I 100% complete all the available gta's on my Xbox series console.
I have a trinity X360 console and I tried to RGH 3 it and now it’s not turning on power supply orange and the eject sound repeating. Maybe the PLL point broke I think but I’m not sure. There is a fix to the console to work again?
I bought a new X360 E a long time ago, with a Kinect and a 4GB NAND+500GB HDD, production date 12-16-2013. I thought it was a Winchester revision and hadn't done JTAG until a bad update appeared (turned out it was Corona). I installed the Aurora dashboard and noticed that the console was heating up to 85°C even with the dashboard open. I decided to open it up to clean it and noticed a ton of flaws with Foxconn manufacturing. Is this normal? Share your experiences; maybe this is acceptable.

Hello can someone help me , I tried to remove the voltage regulator in the pic because it was faulty and I was gonna do the ams1117-3.3V mod so I didn't have a heat gun and google said to use little bit of solder but it got stuck and the top shell came out what should I do.
So I think that my Xbox 360 has died on me which I had just bought one again so this sucks
It's hard to explain but the disc drive has trouble opening sometimes and when I'm playing a game, it will randomly close the game and it will say "open tray" despite it not being physically opened. It can read games perfectly fine, can't tell if it's a sensor or motor issue. I have a 3min video attached to try to show my issue. Currently, it is playing the game but it took me an hour to get it to "work". It is cleaned out, I even try adding WD40 on a Q-tip to put on the belt and gears, but that doesn't seem to be the issue, it seems to be the little opening mechanism on the left side, something is wrong with it, maybe some sort of signal?? I don't know.
Please help, I've looked everywhere on what I can do without replacing the internal parts:(
EDIT: Talked with my father, we are thinking it is a faulty eject button sensor? Because as you can see in the video, the disc tray will close and after awhile, it will randomly try to open up but the motor doesn't seem powerful enough to fully push it open.
So I have an old 360 I’m gonna sell. It has a friend’s old profile on it that I need to delete. The problem is my TV doesn’t have the red, yellow and white display cable input and the Xbox doesn’t have a HDMI port. What do I need to buy to convert it?
I just got Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition from GameStop and waited 3 days for it to be delivered to my house. When I put it in my Xbox 360 S, it reads the disc and then says Unrecognizable disc which gives me the 3-57-00 error code. My other Xbox 360 games work just fine.

I'm having a problem with my Xbox 360 controller. Whenever it vibrates, the controller stops working. It's still powered on, but none of the buttons respond. I attached a video so you can better understand the issue.
I used a controller testing website, where you can see that the controller works normally because every button press is detected on the screen. However, as soon as I activate the vibration (even for just a second), the controller completely stops responding. Pressing any button does nothing. The only way to make it work again is to unplug the controller and plug it back in.
I think the vibration is causing the controller to freeze. I wanted to remove the vibration motors from the controller, but I can't open it because I don't have the correct screwdriver. Is there another solution, or am I misunderstanding what's actually causing the problem?
EDIT: I guess I found a solution ? I just removed rumble for this controller for Steam.
Did some research a while back, tried cleaning and it worked for a day before continuing the problem, the 360 does not overheat physically, but the console thinks it is and will enter a mode where the resolution turns to 144p and then turns off and on over and over again.
The other problem mentioned was the deteriorated resistors that you can short to prevent the problem, but after checking the resistance with a multimeter, all resistors displayed less than 0.2 ohms.
What else could be causing this issue?
It only plays south park and re5 but not far cry 3 and mw4 they are really good intact but a little bit scratched only a few small
My grown kid 22 yrs old sold the family Xbox to a local GameXchange store. He assumed it was his because he plays it more than anyone else. They say I have to file a police report to get it back. I purchased it through Amazon and I didn’t see a serial number on the order # confirmation.
