Help needed with non whitelisted game(s)

I can’t seem to be able to save my game on ssx tricky
Context: I tried it all, latest compatibility files, xefu v5, went thru all the xefu spoofers, zero plug ins, no stealth server, even deactivated auto boot for aurora and nothing works

I’m running bad avatar on an Xbox 360 slim, I can save my progress just fine on ninja gaiden black which is whitelisted, ssx tricky isn’t so could that be the problem? I don’t have another non whitelisted game to troubleshoot so if someone can lend me a hand here it would be appreciated.

So basically what I want to know is if this is an ssx tricky issue or a general non whitelisted game issue. If someone is able to run ssx tricky and save their progress let me know your setup pls thanks everyone.

I need help figuring my Xbox 360 out

Hey I was just wondering and see if anyone could tell me. I tried to mod my Xbox 360. Instead of using a usb I have a hard drive off a phat Xbox and I have an adapter that connects it to the Xbox via usb, I download everything from a tutorial I saw and got it all right. But when I plugged it into my Xbox the logo went red. But then I took it out and it’s perfectly fine now but I wanna mod it with aurora and have the games. Anyone know how to help?

Modxo Lite issues

ModXo lite isn’t booting into PrometheOS when I turn on my Xbox. I have to hold down the eject button and then it boots. I am stuck.

So far I have flashed my Xbox 1.0 back to stock bios and removed the TSOP bridge points.

I have reflowed the LPC and touched up all 3 solder points for the D0 plug.

I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled XMB4GAMERS dashboard

I flashed Modxo with PrometheOS & Modxo .UF2 files again. Then I flashed Cerbios 3.00 .bin

I pretty much reset my Xbox and started over and I’m still encountering the same issues as I did before. Should I ground D0 on the board instead of using the D0 ground on the provided harness? I kind of want to TSOP flash Cerbios to my Xbox and remove the ModXo because it’s giving me more headaches.

NEW LIBRARY

Help with recently purchased modded Xbox

The console seems to freeze damn near every time you try to start it, within 30 seconds of starting it. With that being said, when it runs it’s incredible. Nearly every OG Xbox game out there, plus 6+ emulators. 2TB of games on the console. Would be greatly appreciative of any help. Seller claims he never had this issue and tested the console multiple times before the sale.

Softmod HDD Question

Hello. If there's already a guide or readme file please direct me there, but I want to simply add a new HDD to my Xbox and download my games to it. My laser in my DVD drive is going out and I want to preserve my games and keep playing them. I believe I have done the endgame softmod found in the video below, so I can play on insignia, but this dvd drive is going out so I need to do something about it.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

is my xbox modded

bought the crystal og xbox to add to my collection haven't had an original xbox since I was a kid but I don't remember the evo x in the top corner on launch up. still boots into normal dashboard so I'm unsure maybe I'm just tripping out it has been about 20 years since I've had this console. If it is modded how do I access any things like custom dashboard and such

Modxo Lite help

I installed my Modxo lite and the lights on the board power up, but my Xbox screen stays black. I can boot into PrometheOS by holding down power & eject on my Xbox. I flashed the Modxo with Cerbios 3.1.0 beta and added the Cerbios folder to my E drive. I can load into XMB4GAMERS by selecting the Cerbios BIOS from PrometheOS, but if I turn off my console and power it on again I get the black screen.

My console was TSOP flashed prior to installing the Modxo and I thought that might be interfering, so I removed the R7R4 & R7D3 bridge points on my V1.0 Xbox board. I am still getting the same black screen when I try to power on the console normally.

Modxo not booting

I have a revision 6 Xbox that I have been trying to get modxo to work on. Originally I messed up the soldering of the lpc board but got a person to fix it. He was able to show me that cerbios and Prometheos booted fine with his test chips but my modxo FRAGS when I try to install it. I thought installing the bios would be easier but could it be the carrier board or the pico tiny are not compatible or am i not installing it correctly.

LPC rebuilding question

I bought a rebuild board and had it installed by someone. I they were able to make it work with cerbios and promotheOS but not with my modxo. Could it be because the ground and the L0 contact pins. Are those supposed to be bridged or left alone?

Help with matrix modchip

I bought a Xbox that had a matrix modchip in it, but I'm having a hard time getting anything to work I replaced the disc drive got hexen to boot but installed to many dashboards I think? And now it'll boot into the Xbox starting logo with it saying xecuter2 at the bottom but stay there.

Is there anyway to factory reset it to restart fresh from scratch? Or can I take it off and soft mod it? Or would upgrading the hard drive and installing fresh there would help?

PSA: Fix for Halo 2 Insignia Matchmaking Issues After the April 17 Network Update

Some Halo 2 players have been running into issues when trying to play matchmaking after the Insignia Network Update from April 17.

The best fix is to boot up the Insignia Setup Assistant and select:

Clear Ticket Cache

This has been the most reliable method for getting Halo 2 matchmaking working again.

You can also clear your Xbox cache through a modded dashboard.

For players on a stock Xbox who don’t currently have a way to clear the cache, we recommend making a Skeleton Key. You can purchase the needed flash drive and Xbox USB adapter below, then follow MrMario2011’s tutorial.

Can i use FatXplorer instead of chimp to format a 1.6 Xbox hardrive???

very new to xbox modding. in the preparation and research phase where i ready myself up before i actually tinker with the internals and externals. planning on installing software via a custom usb dongle aswell so making sure thats also aok!!!. my only knowledge in this field is that 1.6s cant be Tsop'd as it lacks a hardware component on the board that older models do have.

Extension cable for mod

Hey everyone, I am trying a new mod for my og xbox but realized that this board will block me from being able to mount it. I wanted to reach out to the community to ask if there is any extension cables or other options to be able to connect the ports, but be able to move the board aside to make room for my mod. Can you transplant a DVD drive?

I have 2 semi-functional consoles and I'm trying to frankenstein them to life. They have 2 different disc drives and I want to know if I can just swap them out or if there are software/hardware differences that will cause issues.

Custom white Xbox Series X with disc + green Galaxy base (best way to do it?)

Hi everyone,
I currently own a standard Xbox Series X and I’m planning a custom build inspired by multiple Xbox editions.
My ideal setup would be:
White Xbox Series X shell using the white All-Digital / Robot White style shell

Keep the disc drive, so I would need to professionally cut:
disc slot opening

small opening for eject/pair button if needed

On top of that, I’d also like to use the green base from the Galaxy Black / Special Edition Series X to create a white + green combo.
So basically the final result would be:
White Series X (All-Digital aesthetic) + disc drive + green Galaxy base
I’m considering:
CNC cutting

professional plastic machining

other factory-quality cutting methods

Main concerns:
I want it to look as close as possible to factory quality

I don’t want rough Dremel/manual cuts

Not sure if laser cutting is ideal for this plastic or if CNC is better

Questions:
Has anyone done this exact mod before?

Any shops/modders that can professionally modify a white all-digital shell for a disc Series X?

Best method for a factory-like disc slot cut? CNC, milling, laser, something else?

I’m based in Italy/Europe, so EU options are preferred.
