So I've had my xbox for like around 3-4 years but it was originally a friends xbox but they gave it to me for free since they were getting a new one anyways, it was fine and all good but obviously stuff started getting slow around 4 years. I think they bought the xbox around 2019 I think? But around 4-5 months ago it started like turning on slower and slower, like the green logo would be there for 5-10+ minutes until it loaded all of my stuff and main screen. Even then if I tried opening and playing a game, it'd take AGES to load and if it did finally load it would be really glitchy and slow with the gameplay, then it would eventually freeze and quick me out. Or it would take ages to load and then say something like error or failed to load the game, try again or something like that. I've been thinking about getting it repaired or seen by someone to see actually what's going on with it. It's just an xbox one so not a series or anything, I've tried recording a video of the problems I've had since I haven't turned it on for like 4 months and it's saying there's no signal on my TV despite it being connected, nothing was moved or taken out. It also takes for me to hold the button to turn it off, unlike how you just give it a quick press to turn it off and on. Does anyone has any idea on what happened before I take it to get seen by anyone?? 🙏

I was in in Xbox party, when I left expecting to not be able to hear anybody.wanting to make a new party. But I could still hear everyone even after leaving, so I proceeded to sign out of my account and log back in. But I could still hear them throughout the entire process. I had to restart my Xbox to fix it, and I filed a report

If I got one of those like cards from Walmart where you put in the code and get the game, would I be able to use an Xbox one on my pc?

So I have an Xbox One from around 2015, and it was not loading games right, either they wouldn’t load at all, or would take a really long time, like a really really long time.

It wouldn’t make it past the initial logo screen, or it would say something like ‘there was a problem’ or ‘took to long to start’. If it did make it past the start up screens, it would then take a long time to load a save file or do anything.

I did some googling of course and came to the conclusion that there was something wrong with the hard drive, but I decided to try and completely reset the console and delete everything and start over.

When I did that it seems to be fixed now, everything’s working fine.

So what was/is the problem? Is everything fine now?

And assuming it’s fine besides for the fact that it’s a 10 year old console, what’s it worth? And if there is something wrong with it that’s going to come back what’s it worth?

Is an Xbox one with a broken hard drive worth anything to someone?

¿Alguien ha logrado recuperar una cuenta de Microsoft bloqueada después de que fue hackeada? Necesito ayuda.

Hola a todos.

Quiero contarles mi caso porque ya no sé qué más hacer y me gustaría saber si alguien ha pasado por una situación similar o si tiene algún consejo.

Hace unos días descubrí que mi cuenta de Microsoft había sido comprometida. Al revisar el historial de actividad encontré inicios de sesión desde varios países, entre ellos Rusia, Brasil y Estados Unidos. Además, la persona que obtuvo acceso cambió los alias de la cuenta y los correos electrónicos de recuperación para intentar quedarse con ella.

Afortunadamente, yo tenía configurada una llave de acceso (Passkey) en mi teléfono, por lo que aún pude entrar a la cuenta. En cuanto recuperé el acceso cambié la contraseña, revisé la configuración de seguridad e intenté asegurar nuevamente la cuenta.

Me puse en contacto con el soporte de Microsoft y seguí todas las instrucciones que me dieron. me recomendaron llenar una solicitud de recuperación de cuenta porque aunque yo tenia accesos a ella parecía ser que el hacker también, al mandar la solicitud Microsoft bloqueo la cuenta dejándome sin acceso.

Después envié una solicitud para que me la desbloquearan, Incluso envié toda la información necesaria para demostrar que soy el propietario legítimo de la cuenta: datos personales, información de Xbox, dispositivos, historial de la cuenta y todo lo que me solicitaron.

A pesar de todo eso, Microsoft rechazó mi apelación indicando que la cuenta infringió la política "Abuse of our Platform and Services", manteniendo el bloqueo de la cuenta.

Lo que más me duele es que yo soy la víctima de esta situación. Llevo años utilizando esa cuenta y nunca había recibido una advertencia, suspensión o sanción por incumplir las normas de Microsoft. Siempre he utilizado la cuenta de forma normal para jugar en Xbox, comprar juegos y utilizar los servicios de Microsoft.

En esa cuenta tengo juegos, contenido digital y compras que he realizado durante años con dinero que obtuve trabajando. Pensar que puedo perder todo por acciones realizadas por la persona que hackeó mi cuenta me parece muy injusto.

Después del rechazo abrí una nueva solicitud explicando toda la situación con mucho más detalle y ahora estoy esperando una respuesta.

Mis preguntas son:

• ¿Alguien ha pasado por algo similar?
• ¿Microsoft les devolvió la cuenta después de explicar que había sido comprometida?
• ¿Hay alguna otra forma de contactar con un equipo especializado o escalar el caso?
• ¿Qué más podría hacer para demostrar que soy el propietario legítimo?

Okay so I've had my console for a bit now, i haven't had any problems up until recently. Some games refuse to load/crash consistently, Shadow of mordor, ghost recon wildlands, Witcher 3, Kcd, ufc 4, mk11 and alot more that i can't name off the top of my head rn.

Thats just a few i can name that I've had problems with, the xbox still works and i can play games.

I have tried reinstalling the games resetting my xbox calling support, everything.

If anybody has ANY idea what could be causing this or how to help, please let me know.

So i have multiple games in my xbox 360 that used to work which are bo2, fo3 and cod ghosts but now they don't read anymore can anyone help??? P.S: every disc has scratches including ones that work but only minor ones like coating scratches i think, but i just wanna play bo2 multiplayer and zombies

I recently did an ssd mod and put on some new thermal past. Problem ist that the console shuts off after like 1hour, bc of overheating, it’s really hot outside and in my room. I cool down my room as good as possible, but sadly the Xbox still overheats and shuts down. When I touch it ist so hot that leaving my hand on, for couple of seconds, is really uncomfortable but the fan works. So any ideas against overheating? like modding some parts or do other things to keep it cool.
